The front desk team gave me a warm welcome that instantly made me feel at home, and throughout my stay, every member of the staff—from housekeeping to restaurant service—was incredibly thoughtful and professional.
My room was spacious, beautifully kept, and featured a remarkably comfortable bed that provided restful nights after long days. The attention to cleanliness was consistent, and I really appreciated the care the cleaning staff showed.

The hotel is definitely older, but that’s part of its charm and character. We enjoyed our stay—staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Check-in was a bit slow, but we were eventually taken care of.
One of the best parts is the location: just a short walk to the cathedral and many major tourist attractions, with two fantastic cafés on either side of the hotel Cafe Arte and Chai (best breakfast). It’s truly a convenient base for exploring the area.
The hotel also offers helpful services like organizing tours to other areas Tequila, Tlaquepaque, Tonola etc, airport transfers, and other arrangements as needed. In the evenings, they host entertainment such as mariachi, tribute bands, and live music. We attended each event and had a great time relaxing with a few drinks.
Cleanliness could use some improvement, but it was generally acceptable. We visited in July, and it was extremely hot with a noticeable mosquito presence—both indoors and out—so we recommend bringing bug spray. This isn’t really a hotel issue, just something to be aware of when visiting during the summer.
Overall, a pleasant and memorable stay with a lot of local flavor.
