"This is a beautiful city to soak-in the Lakeside ambience and relax. This hotel is right out of the Star Trek holodeck scenario- woodsy, homey, friendly, clean, smells great, comfortable bed. Nice check in folks. Lake right across from hotel, plenty of walkable trails near-by. Beware, there are bears that try to raid the trashcans- I almost ran into one the first night there coming back from a hike! Only not so great thing were thin walls, but not a deal breaker! Great coffee place close by- Jumpstart. Puts Starbucks to shame. Food places so-so. LOVED this hotel and city."

"We really enjoyed the unique decor with stuffed mounted animals and birds above the lobby in alcoves. It was great to have an elevator to the second floor. The custom wood branch construction of chairs and bed frames and cupboards was outstanding.. Our room had a beautiful view of the mountains. All the amenities were convenient. A quick drive into town or up the highway into the western side of Rocky Mountain National Park made the hotel perfectly located. There was no onsite breakfast late May, but there were plenty of nice cafes and restaurants in Grand Lake. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to friends. The whole ambiance was “Mountain cozy.” Also an easy drive to Hot Sulphur Springs which we enjoyed."

"Everything was as advertised! The cabin was adorable. As mentioned, the doorways and beams were low. The shower was also very small. But the location was perfect, Grand Lake is a beautiful little town. My husband and I had a great time hiking the East Inlet Trail up to Lone Pine Lake and back, the trailhead is only a few minutes drive from the cabin. We hope to be back soon."

"Got there and the room they had for us would the door would not open and the front desk clerk was new but nice. Had to leave and come back 90 min later and room was still not ready because she could not get in. Had to leave again and go back an hour later. Got there and she had a different room us, but we could not leave because the front lock would not work. Only had a king and she brought in a mattress and I had to Sleep on the floor. Also the room was clean but overall in bad shape. Lamps in drawers which was strange. Outside of the brand new front desk employee trying to help us out the overall experience is awful and would not stay there again."

"Everything as pictured. Good communication with host. Got a little lost on our way but that was our fault for not following the hosts instructions. Google Maps takes you to the wrong place so make sure to read the message the host sends you. "
