「It hostel-style so there is a kitchen for cooking meals and shared bathroom/shower facilities. Just be aware that you can only use the kitchen 8 am-8:30 pm which is a little restrictive. It would be nice if there was a microwave and small sink in the meadow house for after-hours use. I would love to stay again, the scenery is incredibly beautiful.」

「I wish I did a little more research before booking. This lodge used to be a hostel and still seems more like a hostel than lodge. It would be perfect if I wasn’t traveling with a toddler who wants to get into everything. Location is about a five minute drive from the beach. We saw a ton of deer. It’s a little ways to the shipwreck and lighthouse. Great for trail access. Overall, if you’re traveling with small children or folks who overheat easily, maybe not the best place. 「This is the third cottage we have stayed at in the Point Reyes area. All were excellent, but this was the very best. It is such a beautiful spot and the cottage is perfect for two. We love Point Reyes and all the wonderful hiking trails and I think this is the one time that our cottage was so perfect that we enjoyed getting back from out outings as much as we enjoyed our outings. 」
