“The hotel feels very new, and our room was clean and comfortable. If you’re coming to Tonga for a Swim with Whales experience, this is a great place to stay. The wharf is only about a five-minute walk away, which was especially convenient for the early morning whale trips. The biggest perk was Ian the chef! He was incredible!!! His food was delicious and he was so kind and helpful. We really enjoyed getting to know him and all the care he took in providing for the guests. Ian was truly the cherry on top!”

“This is a great property if you wish to explore the south side of the island, or if you have your own vehicle. Unfortunately it is NOT 2.5 miles from the airport or the cruise ship port. It is on the opposite side of the island, Depending on traffic, a 90 - 150 minute drive. $115 taxi drive. “Overall, I thought it was nice and comfortable. Google maps originally took me to the wrong place, but we got it sorted out. They seem to have a fair number of animals - besides a couple of dogs and a cat, I definitely heard a rooster as well. So it could be a little disruptive overnight when you're trying to sleep if you're not used to that sort of thing.”
