10 days in paradise

For us it was perfect. Because of my walking disability, I was worried about the stairs. But the apartment is so nice that I could relax several times the whole day without leaving. The view to the ocean and the own pool made my holidays realy comfortable. And we loved the fruits, the welcome present from the owner.

Gorgeous spot

Beautiful house. Incredible spot to watch the sunset from the upstairs terrace. Even in early November weather was nice enough to enjoy a dip in the pool. Did not see/interact with guests in other unit on property. Ponta do Sol is a charming town with restaurants, cafes, a market to buy groceries and a rocky beach worth visiting. Host was communicative. Would definitely go back.

Magnificent house on the heights of Ponta do Sol

Surrounded by banana trees, we were not at all bothered by the neighbors (same property). Inside, everything is white, nothing disturbs the gaze. We shower in the Italian style with the monsteras, we rest on the green sofas in the lounge and finally we share a drink in the kitchen-dining room whose bay window opens onto the landscape. Nothing was missing in it and our host had left us a well-filled fruit basket (not to mention the jam, salt, oil and vinegar). Outside, the swimming pool (cool on this date), an outdoor lounge and in the garden a beautiful round red bathtub for taking a hot outdoor bath, the best! Below, the vegetable garden. We took full advantage of this magical place. We encountered a small problem during our stay, our host Miguel (architect-owner) was great, very responsive, he did everything to solve it :)

Astonished vacation villa in madeira

We stay 4 days at Casa da Vargem, It is an amazing villa, with a wonderful view to the ocean . The casa designed in modern clean architecture ,which together with the panoramic view of the nature around, gives kind of “Zen atmosphere” . The place is really amazing, much better then the photos! Miguel the owner use to work for many years at hotels, and the Villas are his dream come true. You can feel and see his professional touch in every detail at the villa which has 2 bedrooms, leaving room, wonderful shower, amazing swimming pool, hot tab at the garden, very well equipped kitchen and privet garden with plants and herbs that the guest can use for cooking or tee. There are also many other useful facilities that you can use such as washing and drying machine, every thing is new and works perfect. The bottom line is -5 stars experience. Next time we will be in madeira we will be back to Casa da Vargem.🌺

A perfect place to stay!

This house is something to come back to! You have have everything you need in a modern design apartment. The view is extra ordinary. The luxury to go out in the garden to pick herbs for cookie for tea… The host is very nice and helpful and the apartment is very clean. This is a place to came back to!
