Incredible home

This incredible home had absolutely everything we needed and more. Private baths, gourmet kitchen, amazing decks and views. We checked in and never left until check out time. Ate all meals outside facing the water, heard the surf at night, and walked the beach each morning with the amazing private boardwalk directly from the house!

Mixed Review

Because we were a group of 4 couples over the age of 60, we were very definite about our requirements for our rental. This house had a great living and kitchen area. It is right on the beach and has a great back deck and boardwalk over the dunes. (But the yard is littered with construction waste and has no grass or landscaping). It listed 6 bedrooms and 3 of those bedrooms shared 2 bathrooms. No couple our age wants to share bathrooms, so when I read in the description of the bedrooms that there was a study that had been converted into an en suite bedroom with a kitchenette and its own private balcony, I thought the house would be great. I also noted an elevator in the photo gallery and was thrilled to have that as some of us need that to get our luggage upstairs. Unfortunately, the elevator was locked with a sign on it saying we could not use it and the converted bedroom was also locked behind a keypad. The website needs to be updated to reflect these conditions. Additionally, the keypad on the front door didn’t work, a closet lightbulb was burned out and the icemaker in the refrigerator didn’t work. On the plus side, the response from the Portero team was immediate and helpful. This house was a high end rental on the beach and we expected a higher level of amenities. I would definitely recommend the management team, but please update the website to reflect that the bedroom pictured with bunk beds is not available and the elevator is restricted and locked.

Very nice accomodations and neighborhood too. Personally like to be closer to activities but if you are strictly beach goer, its perfect. Still only took about 20-30 minutes to get anywhere you might like to see. Also only 2 hours from orlando, not bad at all:) the rental was well kept and beautiful.

Christmas at Ponte Vedra

Lovely Christmas vacation with extended family. Everyone marveled at the house and the number of bedrooms. It was even decorated for Christmas! Of particular use was the elevator due to the fact that three of our party have limited mobility. Great stay, highly recommend!

Great home but needs a little love

Our large group had stayed at Seawatch 9 years ago, so returning was nostalgic, as well as great FUN. We greatly enjoyed our stay! Not sure about calling it a Luxury home, though. Examples: One of the backdoors onto the deck is very hard to open and close, so we just used the other one. Some of the furnishings could use updating and the kitchen could easily be better stocked for large groups with the addition of basics like plates and glasses. The deck has deteriorated and a sign warns that shoes should be worn when walking on it. We were shocked and saddened at what Hurricane Irma has done to the area! Crushed shell replaces sand on a large portion of the strand. Thankfully, efforts are underway to restore the area. Many homes that were badly damaged are under repair or being rebuilt. It’s such a beautiful area and we wish nothing but good things for South Ponte Vedra and its recovery!

Amazing house and location

Six of my friends and I stayed at this beautiful home for a long weekend. The house is lovely and clean. Very nicely updated with perfect number of bedrooms and bathrooms. We would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at Seawatch. The house is spotless. Beautifully decorated and right on the ocean. The elevator makes loading and unloading a breeze! We brought our labradoodle and she loved the fenced in yard! We will most definitely come back!!

Great Property with Terrific Views

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Seawatch in Ponte Vedra. Everything was as described in the listing and was very clean. There was plenty of room for my family to spread out when we wanted privacy and a great kitchen/dining/family room when we wanted to spend time together. The kitchen appliances were in great shape and there was no shortage of silverware, plates, drinkware, etc. The bedrooms were comfortable and the views from the 3rd floor balconies were amazing to wake up to in the morning. The private boardwalk with beach access was great for family members who enjoyed morning walks on the beach. Judy was very prompt to respond to any questions we had and was very accommodating when a medical situation required some extra time on our check-out day. The location is approximately a 20 minute drive to downtown St. Augustine and there are two Publix supermarkets within a 15 minute drive for food and supplies. There aren't many restaurants immediately nearby but my family had good dining experiences at both Cap's on the Water and The Reef. Of course there's no shortage of great dining options in St. Augustine. My family had a great experience at this property and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to someone looking for an oceanfront property in the area.

Better than Expected

We ( 3 couples) were so pleased with Sea Watch. It was very clean and definitely met all of needs. All of the bedrooms had their own separate bathrooms. They beds were very comfortable, the living room furniture was comfortable and ample for 6 adults. We loved the fact that we had garage parking and the elevator was a plus. The outside porch had plenty of tables and chairs and an outside shower. The beach is very private. We enjoyed it every night after our golf days at World Golf Village. We have made plans already to return in Sept 2019. You will not be disappointed with this house. The manager, Judy Wren, was a delight to deal with.

Wonderful house! Right on the beach. Very private

What a great house and location! We had 4 senior couples so the four bedrooms each with a private bathroom was perfect. Very well appointed home with everything you could need. Covered front and expansive back porch great. Very clean and well maintained. And the elevator was great for luggage and supplies. We hope to return. Highly recommend this rental.

Very comfortable for a multi-family gathering

Our family had a great time while staying at SeaWatch. The house was just as described in the description on Wren Vacation Rentals website. There were so many different opportunities for our families diverse interests. Guana preserve hiking trails, going to the attractions in old St. Augustine, the shopping at the outlet malls and then there was the views of the ocean while sitting on the benches on the walkway.

Amazing,beautifully clean and equipped property

This was absolutely perfect! We have stayed at many properties on the beach in the St Augustine area over the last 4 years and Seawatch is by far the most equip and enjoyable! We found everything down to the beach chairs listed there, and in perfect usable condition. We love dinner at the Raintree, Ruth’s Chris, medure, Harry’s, Gypsy Cab Co. lunch at A1A burrito and so many more! Seawatch was convenient yet far enough away to suit all our needs or wants. We’ll return ASAP!

Great multi family beach house.

Seawatch beach house has an awesome floor plan. We had four families with toddlers and infants. The bedrooms were spaced apart and naps were a breeze no matter what age. The kitchen is spacious and easy to prepare meals together. We will definitely plan another trip to this beach and this house. We loved it and no one was ready to go home.

Stunning as well as comfortable

Our family gathers each year for a Fall beach vacation. We were originally scheduled to vacation in September, right after the hurricane hit and had to postpone because there was no power. Our original rental house was damaged, and the management company offered us this house instead. This was our first year staying with a Wren Beach house and we'll never rent through another company! They were so helpful and communicative, even though they were dealing with the aftermath of the hurricane. Really wonderful customer service. We were six adults and three children, and there was plenty of space in Seawatch. The house was very clean (especially compared to places we've stayed in previous years), the views were breathtaking, and they had everything we needed. I mentioned customer service, but this house is so well maintained and well appointed, that we didn't need to talk to the management company at all during our stay. This was truly a memorable week for all of us!!

Seawatch

We all thought the house was beautiful with plenty of room to spread out. Everything was as described, clean and well maintained. It's a great location for visiting Caps on the Water in Vilano or Harry's in St. Augustine, two of our favorite restaurants. I would certainly recommend this house to anyone. Wonderful family vacation home

Easy access to the quiet expansive South Ponte Vedra Beach and all that it has to offer is the highlight of our stay. The large kitchen and gathering areas plus lots of space to spread out made time indoors wonderful too. Bonus wash being able to fish from shore and dine on fresh seafood.

Spectacular Home on the Ocean
