「Room was clean and well appointed. Missed having coffee in the room though. Couldnt bring my partner her breakfast because they dont allow it. Lots of little rules you dont usually find at a Super 8. We had 2 rooms for 2 nights and had to get our cards reconnected for the second night. Not a big deal but I parked out back next to the closest entrance to my room and had to walk all the way to the front to get it connected, then all the way back to the room.

「I know this isn't a five star property, but the office staff could make some effort. I am tired of staff who treat guests like they're an inconvenience. 「The whole property is run down and not kept properly. The carpets are old and smelly. There’s an old tobacco smell. When we went to the room assigned to us our allergies started acting up and there was no safety lock in the room. It looked like it had been removed. We went back to the reception desk, but nobody was there. Also called the phone that was posted on the door, but no one answered. We just left a message that we were leaving and left the keys in the box.

「We had a great stay at this hotel near Elgin Beach, close to Tobermory. The property was very clean, well maintained, and comfortable. The check-in process was easy, and the instructions were very clear. Even though there was no front desk staff on site, we had no trouble checking in.
