We had a great time. The house was great the neighborhood was great. We needed a wheelchair accessible house and this house was perfect. We’re not big fans of the actual beach on the bay but it was a quick drive to all our favorite places. Would recommend and stay there again.

Very clean and nice property. The memory foam beds were very comfortable. Lots of space so we did not feel crowded. The A\C works very well, even though it was very hot outside. Kitchen was well stocked. I would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyed our stay!

We had a wonderful vacation! We had never been to this area and we really liked it. The house was spacious and laid out well, and conveniently located to the beach (that wasn’t crowded, which we loved!). Having the ping pong table and corn hole was great too, as some played those games while we were cooking out or just hanging out at the house. We would definitely rent again!

We rented a boat one day and had a great time exploring the bay.

Great house and location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful stay at Flamingo Landing. The location was great for the beach access, it's a short walk. We had plenty of room for 2 adults and 4 kids. Everything was comfortable and clean.

Wonderful beach vacation!

This house was the perfect place for our summer beach vacation. Beach was just a short walk away. House was perfect for our family of 6. They even catered to our dog with a special treat. After returning from the beach, kids could play in the game room set up in the garage or with board games supplied. Our favorite was game was Sorry and Jenga. The grill outside was perfect for supper time. The house was the perfect size for our crew. Big enough for all of us to have our space and not feel crowded. Restaurant and grocery stores just a 10 minute trip away. I enjoyed reading on the screened in porch at night. Would definitely stay here again with my family! A beautiful place for our get away!!

Excellent Rental!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed here as Snowbirds for 6 weeks and the house was wonderful. Probably the cleanest and best outfitted of all our past rentals. Just the right kitchen, cleaning, and other essentials and all in great shape. New gas grill - comfortable furniture - even Rubbermaid containers for leftovers! Property Manager - New Wave - was very responsive to any needs. Only a short 5 minute walk to the Windmark Beach with miles of uninterrupted walking. Walking, biking, and cart paths throughout the neighborhood and a heated pool. Centrally located so was an easy drive to restaurants and other beaches and attractions. Neighborhood was quiet during our stay but I imagine the subdivision can get pretty busy during peak seasons.

Great house but won't come back

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Drove here from Houston - specifically looked for a property that had both the beach and pool within walking distance and a home that would comfortably sleep all 8 of us for 5 nights. The home itself was beautifully decorated, super clean, and had the added bonus of the garage-turned game room. Our 5 boys loved the ping pong table and basketball hoop and dart board, although there wasn't an outdoor tv as advertised (not an issue but they might want to remove that detail). The beds were very comfortable (although the bed frame in the primary room was cracked and my husband and I slept on a V-shaped mattress that first night - maintenance arrived first thing the next morning and fixed it and added that this was not their first time having to fix this bed) and the AC worked perfectly. Liked the walkability to both the beach and the boardwalk however, the closest pool was closed due to a pump issue. We were able to go to another pool that was further away (10 minute drive) however it was so packed (could barely walk in the pool) being as it was the only one open. My biggest complaint had to do with the included supplies. Yes, it does advertise having a "starter supply" of amenities but I would think that, for 8 guests and 5 nights, they would have included more than 1 roll of toilet paper per toilet. We ran out within the first 24 hours and had to make a trip to the grocery store. They also only included 2 dishwasher detergent pods (again, for 5 nights) and ZERO dish soap. Towels were extremely limited as well, forcing us to do several loads of laundry (had to purchase detergent). Even a basic motel offers more. Kitchen was well stocked, would have appreciated some salt and pepper. Lastly, there was no beach gear (chairs/umbrella/wagon/toys/towels, etc) which I thought was odd as it's considered a beach house. Property management communication was prompt and responsive but, for the money spent as well as the drive time to get there, I would not return to this property.
