This hotel is a diamond in the rough. From the outside, it's nothing special but the rooms were nicely appointed and very clean. Location is near the interstate and only 15 minutes from the water/downtown Portland. Very good value.

The front desk staff was very helpful and courteous. However the building had bad musty, ammonia odors and it did not feel clean. We asked for our stay to be canceled and it was canceled without issue.

The staff was friendly and helpful. It looks as though they are getting the hotel in a state that's rentable. The bed was comfortable but there's nothing to brag about the room. The breakfast provided was a joke.

The front desk person was very friendly, helpful, and informative. The room was clean and comfortable. As a solo traveler, it was great . The price was a great value.

Standard hotel. Spacious with fridge and microwave in room. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was basic and not worth eating. Pool was not open. Outside the city, nice a quite for a good night's sleep.

Expensive for the quality offered. The room had a strong, unpleasant humid and musty smell that made the stay uncomfortable. Overall, the condition and comfort of the hotel did not match the price we paid. For this price range, I expected a much cleaner, fresher, and better-maintained room.

The property is not as described. I’ve stayed in numerous older hotels across the US and this is by far the worst experience I’ve had. The room was filthy - grime, dust, dirt. The headboard was nasty and they had covered with pillows to disguise the damage. I wouldn’t even take my shoes off or shower here. The staff was extremely rude. We arrived late at night and after checking in, they checked out. The next morning - we had asked for a late checkout by noon - they repeatedly called the room starting at 11 am and told us if we weren’t out by 11:30 am they would charge us for another night. I went to the front desk. It was the daughter or young woman of the man and woman that owned the hotel. I told her about our late checkout and how upsetting the calls had been, as well as the condition of the room. Her response was - well you should have stayed somewhere else. Her mother came out and I shared the same. She responded with - everyone has their own opinion of things. Not to mention the location was concerning in the day light. Worst mistake we’ve made traveling and the price was over $100!
