Great hotel, it was my 2nd visit. I especially like the basement sauna. I liked that there is a bike storage area, though you need to be able to lift your bike above your head to hang it on the hook. They did seem short-staffed, though I think that’s true for most hotels these days. Everyone who was there was really kind and helpful.

KEX is a very clean, no frills hotel/hostel in Portland with a fantastic lobby and bar. The food was inventive, fresh and tasty. Good cocktails, and even better service....just enough attention to get what I wanted and plenty of space to just enjoy the scene.

We loved KEX Portland! Such a unique spot with beautiful retro decor. The front desk guy Jermaine was awesome, so friendly and helpful. Walkable to restaurants and breweries. Would def stay again!

I love staying here, it's affordable and the beds are comfy. I omly wish the bathroom had a fan (to vent out steam and smells), and some of the bunks didn't have their storage drawer blocked off.
