I stayed at Broadway Inn from December 31 to January 4, and while there were minor room issues, the real problem was the behavior of a particular female staff member who appears to live and work on the property. Throughout my stay, this woman repeatedly stared at me in an intense, judgmental manner whenever I was visible, during check-in, when I entered or exited my room, when I had a guest briefly visit, and even when maintenance came to address a toilet issue. On one occasion, she stopped walking entirely and stared us down as we entered my room, which made both me and my guest extremely uncomfortable. This was not subtle or accidental. It was prolonged, deliberate staring that felt intimidating and unwelcoming, as if we were being monitored or suspected of wrongdoing despite doing nothing wrong. On the morning of checkout, she called my room at 10:35 a.m. to say, “It’s 10:35, you’re supposed to check out at 11,” then hung up abruptly without explanation. I was fully aware of the checkout time. The call felt unnecessary, aggressive, and like an attempt to rush me out rather than provide service. I want to be clear that this behavior was not a one-time incident. I experienced the same treatment from this same woman during a previous stay in October. This establishes a pattern of conduct that should concern management and future guests. Travelers, especially those from urban backgrounds or anyone sensitive to being unfairly scrutinized, should be aware that this is this.

The front desk was unwelcoming. Even it was 3:40pm, the door was locked and we were helped through a security window. He let us in to fill in our address in his IPad. The first room was not even given as we ordered (two queen beds). Then we were switched to 2 king beds. But the condition of the second room was unhygienic with pee stains on the toilet, unknown residues on the chair, and body hair and long hair on the pillow/bed. We contacted Expedia customer service and left due to this. As per Expedia agent, they could not get replies to this property manager as well and needed their confirmation to process refund.We did not get back our parking fee which was 10 dollars. The location itself is convenient. We saw lots of people going to the arena/sports center cross the street when we left.

The room was clean and comfortable. The smoke alarm was removed from the wall. They make you pay for parking which I don’t think they should charge their guests for parking. They charge $10 for each car if you pay at the hotel and $12 if you pay online.

It was very loud and we were lied to over the phone and told there was a microwave, so I brought food. Once there we were told there isn’t a microwave, so all my food went to waste and I was forced to eat out. Also was not told that they charge to park your car at the hotel even when paying to stay there. Awful hotel and terrible customer service

It was good in terms of last minute availability and cost. I would have appreciated more light in the room. The two bedside small lamps barely grant any visibility. The bathroom sink was clogged. Cleanliness was average or a bit below. We brought personal bedsheets and pillow covers with us and were thankful we did. No room service was offered during our 3 nights stay. On a positive note, the owner was polite and helpful. The location was quite convenient in terms of access to public transportation. Overall, an okay place to get shelter for a night or two.

The lights didn't work, the shower took 5 minutes for the water to get hot, the bathroom door didn't close and it looked to be busted down at one point, there was no insulation, The walls were paper thin i could here the guy in the next room banging his wife, the entire place looked rundown, and to top it all off they dont let people under 21 check in so i had to call my dad whos in georgia it was 3 in the morning for him And ever since i got out of that bed my back has not stopped inching what the hell was in that bed???!!!!
