“Visiting Portland for the music festival. Took the train up from CT. The hotel was in walking distance from the train station and the shuttle for the festival. Very nice, quiet inn. The staff were very helpful and friendly. ”

“The front desk gave us a room that was occupied by others. They didn't know it so they broke into that room. When they changed a room for us, it was not the room type i reserved before. i booked a king size bed and they gave us double bed room. There're stains on the floor. The bed was very uncomfortable neither of us slept well.”

“The Blind Tiger was a gem. It was convenient and private enough to enjoy with staff available 24/7 with and questions. The room, lobby and all areas were immaculate and brilliantly arranged. I would definitely go again!”

“We traveled for our 25th wedding anniversary! We loved the history of the Blind Tiger!! Love the billiards room and the mix of modern and antiques! Our only suggestion would to be to add a fan for some air flow. :) ”

“Fantastic place to stay when visiting Portland. The location can't be beat -- within a couple of blocks to the ferry terminal and Old Town shops and restaurants. The building is next to a police station and my family and I felt very safe. The unit was immaculate, modern, and fully equipped. Onsite parking was a huge bonus, as was the friendly and helpful staff. I would, without hesitation, stay at The Docent's Collection again.”
