“Quite possibly the most dishonest hotel I've stayed at.  Whilst it's beautiful and serene, with a lovely beach, please be warned of some of the practices deployed by staff.  We booked an airport transfer upon arrival: the driver arrived at the exact time of us landing (which cabbie does this??) and we were charged a wait time. There was no allowance made for customs or luggage. Very cheap tactic.  They also tried to charge an extra night city tax, which we had not occupied the hotel.  We……

“Das Hotel liegt circa 10 Minuten Autofahrt von der Stadt. Es gibt kein Restaurants in der nahe und man braucht ein Auto für das Abendessen oder den Strand. Es gibt einen Bus Service von dem Hotel. Das Zimmer ist sauber aber es ist nicht wirklich ein 4 Sterne Hotel Zimmer. Man kriegt nur Showergel. Die Personals beim Frühstücken waren alle sehr freundlich. Das Restaurant für das Abendessen war okay. Das Pool ist sehr gut aber man muss den Badetücher von dem Hotel mieten. 30 Euro pro Woche……

“The views from the resort are absolutely stunning. We stayed in the Villa Tavolara. It was quiet. The view was amazing. The villa was clean, private, and beautiful. Our only issue was the door to one of the bedrooms was hard to open and it took multiple tries and lots of effort to get the lock to turn. But other than that, everything else was perfect. We enjoyed the breakfast each morning by the pool. We traveled with a 1 year old and they provided a crib. Check in and check out was simple.it……

The staff were apologetic and gave us a large room and took care of a few drinks. I would stay again. Power also went out both nights but apparently this is very common in san pantaleo. However, we had a few disappointing experiences in the restaurant in the Hotel which we would not expect for a 5 star hotel. The waiters did not provide the good service for us - first time in the restaurant they did not give us bread whereas the other tables were given bread. In the second morning, the waiter forgot our order and we had to wait for a while and needed to chase.……

“First of all, the hotel is not beach front…. It is beach access from a side street. You are given a free pass for only one day for 2 beach chairs and an umbrella. After that, the daily cost is 25 euro. Staff were very kind and willing to assist in any way. The breakfast was very good but did not change day to day. It was pretty much the same every day. There is no evening night life at this hotel. No bands, music etc. Guests gather around the pool nightly for cocktails with a view of the……
