Do make sure you don’t book on the curry county fair weekend… noisy from 10-10 … but worst is breakdown on Saturday night from 10-1am… The fair is literally next door to the property. Everything you could ever need for your daily needs is here including a washer and dryer. The property is secured with gates and manager on site to answer any questions you may have. The waterfront balcony gives you no choice but to relax and enjoy views of the river and the ocean. We are already booking our next stay because we want to go back to our home away from home. "

"This was our fourth time at this property since 2001, and it is still first rate. New family ownership a couple years ago has led to upgrades in several areas (glass cabins, spa, sauna). The location on the Rogue is great with a sweeping view of the river to the south. The restaurant is superb, though options are somewhat limited and pricey. There are kayaks and other toys available. You can get picked up at their dock for a jet boat excursion up the river. Gold Beach is 15 minutes or less away and there are great coastal spots to visit in close proximity."

"As the listing shows you get a great panoramic view of the ocean. The place was very private and quiet. The only other person around was someone working on their lot, about 700' down the road at the cul-de-sac where you get the path down to the beach. This path is on a neighboring parcel, but was well maintained. At some points the path was challenging for 70 year olds but was well worth it. The beach was about 1/3 mile and very isolated. We loved the place and will definitely be back. There are a few things worth noting. There was no shampoo or soap, other than hand soap. We know it was not in the listing but most listings do not mention these but all have had them. This was a first for us and we do about 6 different properties a year. Also most dog friendly properties provide waste bags. Luckily we always bring all of these items when we travel. It was also funny that there was no sign-in book. We always like to read the comments and see where people are from that have visited."
