“Wow—what a fabulous stay. From the moment we checked into our woodland escape lodge with hot tub, the sense of luxury was clear throughout. The double walk-in shower, deep freestanding bath, mood lighting, and plush bathrobes all added to the experience, with everything thoughtfully provided for a relaxing break. Every member of staff we met was exceptional and couldn’t do enough to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The restaurant offers a well-presented menu with great options, and the grounds and……

“Bedroom furnished sympathetically with the age of the property. Shower was fantastic. Food served was good and fairly priced. Peaceful setting.”

“Room smelled pungently of mildew. When I told the staff they said they’d have to do a better job of cleaning. We left several days ago and everything in my suitcase, including all my clothes, still have that mildew smell. Quiet setting. Large rooms but had no way to air out except for a tiny window 18x8 that partially opened. Luckily it was cool weather. Pub was cute and food including breakfast was good.”

The hotel is very near to Harlech Castle, just 3 minute walking distance, but it also means that the hotel situates on the hill as well... So it is better call hotel come to rail station to pick you up.... Dinner and breakfast are delicious~~ ”

“The actual hotel was lovely particularly if you are looking for a certain vibe. It was a well renovated country house that was a delight to stay at. The main issue is that the location is not near anything and feels a bit remote. The grounds could use a little attention as well, but this is of lesser importance. The family who operate the hotel are invested and are a delight”

The breakfast options were incredible: 4 different hot breakfasts to choose from, as well as a very good variety of cereals and toast. Highly recommend this lovely B&B to anyone visiting the area!”
