“Clean rooms, good stay”

“Room directly facing rubbish collection point, so flies flew in via the opened window. We immediately asked for another room, and the staff took actions promptly. But this room seemed to be vacant for some time, as it was quite dusty.”

“Friendly staff. Rooms starting to look a bit tired but were comfortable. Good breakfast.”

“The room was ok. It looked a bit tired and walls slightly dirty. A bit of TLC would improve things. The sink in the bathroom wouldn’t drain properly- blocked - which was annoying. Staff were pleasant ”

“Staff very friendly and helpful. Dinner and breakfast were notably good and plentiful. ”

“Very nice quirky hotel. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was yummy snd freshly cooked. Staff pleasant the hotel is very small with rooms upstairs. A very narrow set of stairs to the rooms. Ours was on the third level and it was hard to get our bags up. I would stay there again but i would take a small bag with what i needed to the room and leave the suitcases in the car. Street parking. Just what i imagined an English pub to be. Lovely ”

“Wow. This was an amazing experience. The woman who greeted and took care of us (Emma?) was the most wonderful host and the hardest working person I have ever met. The room was fantastic with a great view and the experience in general was magical. The only downside was that the published open times for the tavern were not correct and the links in their welcome books seemed broken. Everything else, fantastic. A great find in a historic space. Worth every penny. ”

“Great looking hotel on the outside and great area. 10 mins drive to university. Rooms very dated. Wallpaper coming away from walls. Bed heads all cracked and flaking pvc leather. Bathroom a disgrace cracked tiles bath panelling coming away and cracked. Grouting all black in areas”

“This property is convenient for Warwick and has a large car park. However the room was very basic - uncomfortable beds and outdated pine furniture, a cracked and peeling lampshade and tiny TV. The main problem for us was the road noise. It is right next to a busy and fast road and the noise in the room was just terrible. We were booked for 2 nights but left after the first one as we practically didn't sleep. The staff/owners of the property were just LOVELY and couldn't have been more helpful.……

“No air conditioner, a bit noise, and not close to city center. But environment is good, room is over all not bad.”
