The Romantic Zone A.K.A. Zona Romantica A.K.A. Old Town is the most happening part of Vallarta and is overflowing with shops, cafes, restaurants, bars, taco carts and art galleries.

The beach is only a short walk away, 1.5 blocks west of Oceana. You'll find several restaurants and bars located on the beach where you can sip Corona's and snack on Ceviche with your feet in the sand. Merchants will pass by offering hand made jewelry and crafts while a handful of activities await the more adventurous including: parasailing, jet skiing, banana boat, flyboarding, etc.

🚶‍♂️ Getting Around

You do not need a car to experience downtown Puerto Vallarta. This building is walking distance to everything you need with no hills to walk down or climb up. If you'd like to get out of town, taxis and buses are readily available and affordable.

📌 Other details to note

You will be required to agree to a condominium consent form. Any violation of the condominium rules may attract a fine of $100 USD or more.

Visitors are not allowed to make use of the common areas. Midweek housekeeping is included for stays of 7 nights or more. Renters must be at least 25 years old. Supplies are provided to begin your stay, if you run out it is your responsibility to replace them. Two beach chairs and an umbrella are included at no additional cost.

Great Condo

This is our third time to stay in this unit. It is in the back of the building with a nice view of the moutains and most important away from the noise of the street. There is a Starbucks downstairs so easy to get your morning dose of coffee. The roof top pool area is great. There is a rule that you can not have a container in the pool. So dont expect to enjoy a drink while in the pool The rules for the building are a little extreme. The staff is just great. Always available for anything you may need. We have already booked a week for this coming September.

positive experience. Pros: King bed with two very nice full bathrooms A lot of natural light and multiple balconies Tips/Awareness: If you're not a heavy sleeper, there is rooster in neighborhood that you may find disruptive. I was aware and brought noise canceling headphone which worked well. Wifi is fine for phone, but the wifi had challenges supporting streaming on TV.

Quiet and Comfortable Stay

I enjoyed my stay tremendously. The condo had all the amenities of home. The communication with Aurora and Kristin was timely. They were responsive and kept me up-to-date on accomodating my arrival changes due to the airline. Checkin and checkout were seemless. The location was convenient to everything, and the beach was a direct 2 block or 6 minute walk. The condo building is secure and requires a keycard. There's also a front desk person. The maintenance (I forget the gent and lady's names) were also friendly. They were all reflective of the positive energy of PV. I will stay at this property each and every time I visit.

My contact person went on vacation. She said her colleague would contact me. That didn’t happen. The phone number didn’t work. TV in living room rarely worked. No information about where to put trash. Iron had encrusted burn.Which I didn’t see scorched my $100 pair of pants. Your person at the desk Freddy is wonderful. The phone in the unit doesn’t work. Traveling alone if there was an emergency I’d been in trouble.

nice view everything was nearly perfect, except the master bathroom gets hot in the morning and leaks at lot when it rains, I'm sure it will get fixed, I lot of rules when it comes to using the pool which others guest staying in the building did not follow.

Modern, comfortable condo, old town PV

This is a great, modern condo in old town PV, very close to the beach, restaurants, bars, Saturday farmers’ market, all you need to enjoy PV. The condo itself was spotlessly clean, has lots of light with views east towards the mountains. Great to sit on the balcony in morning sun and enjoy a coffee. The kitchen was adequately equipped and the bed very comfortable. It can be a noisy area at night but this suite is set back from the street and has good windows which kept it very quiet. Air conditioning worked great. It has a well equipped gym and lap pool on the roof with comfortable seating around it. Staff in the building were friendly and very helpful. I definitely recommend this place for your PV holiday.

The Unit faces the Mountains with a peek a boo view of the Ocean. The area is relatively flat and is within 3 blocks of the beach. The unit is pretty quiet considering where it is located. The only noice we heard was the neighbors dog and Roosters. The rooftop pool is very nice with a great view of the Ocean. I would stay at this location again.

Zona Romantica Stay

This property is nicely appointed and comfortable. Beautiful mountain views from the deck. The views from the rooftop pool were beautiful! Staff was friendly and helpful. My husband love this building, location location, excellent! The property managing office was awesome to deal with. If I was to mention a negative about the unit it would be that it’s definitely designed for someone tall ,I needed a step stool to turn on the dryer and to reach the upper cabinet ( story of my life tho )

Great location in the heart of it all

This is a great spot to stay in Zona Romántica! The place has 1 bedroom (king sized bed) and 2 bathrooms. The layout is just as pictured with a wrap-around porch that has a view of the mountains. Perfect for morning coffee! We had everything we needed - coffee maker, full fridge, dishwasher, great kitchen. There’s a TV in the bedroom and one in the living room, but we never watched TV since there is so much to do in paradise. Speaking of paradise, the rooftop pool and deck is AMAZING. The building is super strict about who you can bring up there (so make sure you list all your approved unit guests when you fill out the info form before check in). The building staff were great, especially Freddy at the front desk — he’s incredibly helpful and saved us on the way back to the airport as Uber kept cancelling (trust him when he says he can schedule a taxi!). The staff at the property manager, Lifestyle Properties were also very attentive, especially Aurora. I would highly recommend this spot and would absolutely stay here again. Great find!
