「We booked a room for 2, but an extra twin bed was already there, so we are given a room for 3. The room is classic, clean and comfortable, with good air conditioning (but only Reception can adjust the temperature ) The wooden floor squeaks when stepped on . During our stay the elevator was out of order for a few hours, but quickly fixed. Breakfast is decent. Overall very one here is very nice .」

They can pick you up and drop off anytime from either the train station or the ferry pier ! 「Free breakfast was mainly bread and jam but free is free. Also free coffee. On top of a restaurant so expect noise until they close. Bit of a tough uphill walk back from waterfront but doable.」

「This is a spectacular hotel owned by two sisters with family members working there as well. The owners are there and constantly cleaning. They offer a nice breakfast every morning over looking beautiful Lake Como. Be prepared to walk down which is not bad, about 15-20 minutes through the beautiful village. It is the up hill if you have difficulties or just take breaks. Also, there is parking if you rent a car. If you walk, you end up at a great place called Bar Roma where you can rest, eat...
