“ Good points my wife rated the spar the best shes ever been to with facilities amazing . The two breakfasts we had was allso excellent. The blip was i booked a two night stay as a surprise for our wedding anniversary and my wife finishing her twelfth cancer treatment, we were booked in for monday the 1st till wensday 3rd September, on the Monday we wanted to eat in the restaurant for our Anniversary after ordering our meals the fire Alarm went of so was told to leave then told it was a false……

“Midweek trip to Buxton and surrounding area. Host, Louise was extremely helpful before during and after our stay. The rooms are modern, well equipped and very comfortable for short stays. The property is very well located for public transport and just a short walk to Buxton attractions We would highly recommend ”

“Check in was great as the staff are friendly and helpful. The room was good, nice and clean and the bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was also very nice with a good selection. The hotel is well located in a quiet area and only a ten minute walk to the restaurants, theatre and Pavilion Gardens.”

“I was very impressed with the Queen's Head. Nice clean room in a great location in Higher Buxton. Housekeeping promptly every day. First-rate full English breakfast included. My only complaint is that the room was rather small. There was no space to have an open suitcase, so I had to stuff it in a closet. That was a little inconvenient. Of course, I realize there is nothing they can do about that. It is an old building, and the room size is what it is.”
