“The owners are kind and gracious hosts. My trip was more spontaneous, and they did an incredible job in helping me put together a wonderful visit to Tongariro. The bed and bedding are excellent. The cedar hot tub is wonderful after a long day out. Most of all, the peace and quiet was great.”

“We have stayed at the Wairakei on numerous occasions and have always loved it there. The hot pool is superb, and the beds are really comfy. The staff have always been obliging and helpful. We also love the casualness of the place where you don't have to dress up for dinner etc. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others”
