If you’re considering staying here, don’t.
This was the worst lodging experience I’ve ever had. The apartment was poorly maintained: the refrigerator and oven were filthy, the oven smoked while preheating, and the drains backed up so badly that the shower nearly overflowed after five minutes. The AC was also broken for the first two nights and was only repaired after I complained through Expedia.
The apartment sits beneath the building’s laundry room, resulting in loud foot traffic at all hours. People also smoked on the rear balcony, filling the apartment with cigarette smoke while the windows were open due to the broken AC.
Worse, the apartment is directly above a restaurant/bar open until 1am and a nightclub open until 3am. During my Saturday-to-Friday stay, only Monday and Tuesday were relatively quiet. The bass on Saturday and Thursday was so loud that sleeping before 3am was impossible.
When I tried to leave the apartment one morning around 9am, a guy was passed out between the door to the street and the door to the stairwell up to the apartment. When he finally woke up his pants came down. He lingered there for about an hour. I won’t go into detail about what he did during that time, but every time I checked to see if he had left I immediately had to look away.
I would appreciate the property owner reaching out to discuss the experience.
