“Good location for country parks and Sherborne and museums. Lack of household items ie surface spray to wipe kitchen tops, dining table and outdoor table (not something I would think to take away with me ) lovely spacious property and suitable for 4 adults and 2 children. ”

“The room was a generous size, bed comfortable, bathroom perfect. The pub is set in a lovely location and we were able to enjoy the beer garden. The food was also good. We hope to stay again.”

“Parking was a bit tricky to get in underneath to park n. but very secure. The hotel staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble for then. Because of our age we found the stairs a big challenge so probably would not return ”

“Beautiful Pub Hotel.....we stayed for one night, room had everything you needed and the little extras were perfect. Fresh warm cookies on arrival, fresh milk, and the little goodie bag of toiletries was a lovely surprise. Breakfast was freshly cooked and we loved the homemade ginger and turmeric shots!! Will definitely be back. 🤗”

“This is the fourth time we have visited the Hotel, Staff are very friendly room as nice, the only thing that lets the hotel down is the breakfast buffet no choice of eggs, mass Produced cooking items much Preferred the menu where you Ordered breakfast ”

“Lovely stay breakfast was delicious and staff very attentive. Room was modern but had a few cosmetic issues such as tape on laminate flooring and a shower screen that didn't stop the water from pouring out. It didn’t affect our stay but from a glance minor repairs could be made. Would still happily book again as location and breakfast alone was well worth it ”
