"It’s a lovely hotel within easy walking distance of the Old Town. The staff were friendly and helpful and all spoke excellent English. We used the spa facilities often. The rooms were great with an excellent view of the old town. I would recommend anyone to stay at this hotel if they wanted to visit Split."

"Amazing location -10 mins walk to the old town. Really helpful staff. Breakfast was great except some guests took up sea view windows and sat there on video calls on lap tops… nothing the staff can do I guess, but maybe any future guests reading this may take note… other guests don’t want to hear you on a video call discussing your stock investments every day over breakfast!! Will be back! "

"Really nice stay here. Received a welcome message prior to our stay which was a nice touch. Reception staff friendly on arrival. Good location about 15 minutes walk from the city walls and old town, and 20 minutes to the marina. Rooms spacious and comfy with (very) big bed, although a little dated. Acceptably equipped bathroom (although the step in to the bath/shower could be challenging for some). The hotel bar gets busy in the evening with locals as well as hotel guests as the food is great in there. The breakfast room gets busy in the mornings but always managed to get a table. The food in the breakfast room is acceptable, but not great. "

"We stayed at the Marvie for 5 nights in April of 2025. The hotel is beautiful. The spa services and area is clean, quiet and perfect for relaxation. The hotel is walking distance into Old Town Split and close to beach access. The restaurant has wonderful food and drinks. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful our whole stay. I would recommend the Marvie to anyone looking for an amazing time in Split"

"Cavtat is a stunning location, about 25 minutes from Dubrovnik. The hotel is excellent is all respects - comfortable modern well appointed rooms, superb staff, excellent meals."
