“We checked in approx 6.45pm (en-route to dropping our daughter back at her uni digs in Bath & returned after) on a dark January evening. Seemed to be in the middle of nowhere, but we found it OK. Welcomed by Victoria - Steve (owner) was on holiday. Shown to our room & how we had access to the lounge & kitchen. Such a lovely house. Lots to look at. No TV in our room, so thought we’d watch the one downstairs - it wasn’t to be, though, as we couldn’t find the remote control - lol! Too late by then……

“Very welcoming and friendly. We were met by the owner who showed us around and explained all the amenities and gave lots of useful advice. Very clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful and beautifully cooked. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. Reggie the dog even had a sausage cooked for him for breakfast!”

“Great location and friendly staff. However the room is considerably small given the price of the room, for 2 person without luggages, we had to keep moving the furniture in order to move around. The heating in the room took a long time to heat up and the bathtub in the room did not work. ”

“物超所值, 不過由於住宿期間. 熱浪襲英國, 酒店沒有冷氣, 只提供一把小風扇, 對慣於嘆冷氣的香港人係有點不習慣， 整體值得推薦。”

“交通挺方便的，洗衣也比倫敦的旅舍便宜，缺點是房間收不到wifi，退房後也不能暫存行李，但火車站外面正好有暫存行李服務，不過要另外付錢就是了。”
