“We had a wonderful one-night stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the reception team made us feel very welcome and even accommodated an early check-in for all three of our rooms, which we really appreciated. The breakfast staff were equally impressive, friendly, kind, courteous, and willing to help. Their warm service made for a great start to the day. “The Holiday Inn in Ruckersville is farther outside of Charlottesville than I would normally stay when visiting that city, but was necessary due to a concert causing all the rooms closer in to be booked. It was convenient to the main route into the city on 29, provided a very clean room and acceptable breakfast. The pool was outdoor and so not yet open at the time I visited.”

“I got the handicap cabin which I’m glad about. The shower is bigger compared to the others. Be prepared to use the kitchen sink as also the bathroom sink. They had these s’more kits and enemy were yummy. They provided wood and a bundle was ceder wood & it smelled good. I asked for an extra blanket and they provided one. “Quiet clean and a great place to stay”

“Had high expectations for this stay, first the good, staff, and I mean the single concierge on property was very kind, helpful and super courteous. Very nice young man.The main building has a nice early century feel dating back 300 years of history. Our complaint is with the room itself, it’s not well appointed, the bed sheets and pillows are OK but the bed is worn out and stiff ( you can feel the springs). I have the custom of rating cleanes buy the bathroom and must say that having black mold……
