“Great hotel for an overnight stay close to the airport. Friendly staff, free airport shuttle, close to many restaurants. I would definitely stay here again!”
“Close to the airport, but far enough not to hear the noise. Nice clean room. Bathroom needs some re-thinking. Shops and restaurants nearby. No elevator to the rooms. ”
“Liked hotel and helpful staff. Nothing immediately local but frequent local buses which run til 8.30/9pm back take you to Sandakan centre (RMS .70) where you can get good selection of foods and drinks. Lots of shopping malls. Sepilok(Orangutans and Honeybears) Labuk(Proboscis monkeys) Australian war memorial and Heritage trail were good. Only waste of time and money was Gomantong Bat caves. 4hrs from Sandakan, my camera could not get anything due to it's great size and darkness. Maybe nighttime……
“I booked for my father. He said that the room soooooo narrow and smells bad. He doesn’t have a pleasant stay for the night and he don’t want to stay anymore at this hotel. He also mentioned, he told the reception that he will leaving early, and the receptionist overslept and took few minutes to woke them up. Terrible. ”

“For the area of Sandakan that this hotel is in this is a pretty good option if you really have to stay here! I would not recommend the area at all.
The staff here were very attentive and friendly. The room was adequate but the pillows were horrendous! Just lumpy lumps of hard sponge!
The shower and sink use a pump system which was not smooth at all and you either had a ‘power’ shower or a trickle.
The hotel is near the Central Market, Harbour Mall & the promenade plus local shops but don’t get……
