"This mountain home is wonderful inside and out! It has plenty of space for a large group but still feels warm and cozy for a couple and their dog (that's us!).From the comfy beds to the inviting entertaining spaces and oversized dining tables, every detail prepares you for a relaxing and memorable mountain adventure.The decks are fantastic! Nestled in the treetops on the mountain, you can enjoy a beautiful sunset view from the main deck, that people gather at the overlook next door to see, even when the trees are full.The quiet, cut-de-sac street was perfect for daily walks with our dog, and the mountain resort offers multiple trails and restaurants. A scenic drive takes you to town with more great restaurants and breweries, with wineries and grocery stores just a bit farther.We loved our stay and would definitely come back!"

"House was clean and well appointed. This is a great family house with kid and arcade-type games and various spots to hang out. Communications with the hosts were exceptional. Walking distance to a short nature trail. Perfect for a family with a dog or two! Hosts provided keirig coffee and liquid soap/dispensers for soap and shampoo. Fire wood available and gas tanks for grill and fire pit. Loved the hot tub! Overall, a very nice place!"

"We just returned from a long weekend here in July 2026. We had 6 adults and 2 small kids and the house couldn’t have been any better for us. It was especially perfect for our kids (7 and 4 years old). The house was equipped with everything you could need/want. Bedrooms were all located on the first floor and living space was on the second level. The house had a hot tub and sauna on site and a short walk up driveway, there was a pool and playground. We were a very short drive to the main wintergreen lodge and short drive down the mountain to the breweries. Definitely recommend checking out Lake Monocan. It was a blast! We loved our stay and can’t wait to come back again!"

"If you are looking for the perfect place to gather as a family (or friends)! Everyone can be together at times - and have their private space at times - this is it! The house is beautiful and the views are exquisite. It is very well appointed with even more than similar properties in the area that we've visited (for example, a thermometer for cooking). The pool table and equipment were well-kept, and included two junior pool sticks for smaller children (a wonderful touch). Wifi is superb - which is a must in this area - if you wish to receive emails or make calls. The extra blankets were nice. The hot-tub worked very well and had a gorgeous view. We loved all three levels. Each provided exactly the right amount of perfect. One room to play; one room to gather and cook and be together; the other a nice respite from a long day. What is also very important -- everything worked! The grill had a full gas tank, the disposal did its job, the ice machine (another nice touch) worked to perfection. You can tell the hosts really care about making this a comfortable and welcoming environment for their guests. Check-in was a breeze and communication with the hosts was outstanding. We could not recommend this place more. We fell in love with the pictures - and our experience here exceeded our expectations! It is also a 5 minute drive to the blue ridge overlook (a must for pics) and right near a trailhead. We have stayed at Wintergreen almost a dozen times, this place was the best!"
