"This property was a lovely location for our multi-generational family gathering. The views of the Mississippi River are wonderful, and we enjoyed watching the many eagles and blue herons all around us. We also appreciated having a sun umbrella at the deck table as well as the many folding and lawn chairs that we were able to bring out when needed. "Artist Retreat was as listed. Beautiful location, well stocked with everything needed. Fall colors were great. We were too late in the year for the flowers and plantings but it would be beautiful in Spring and Summer. Recommend for Seniors: nice access to the upstairs bedroom. Easy staircase up with easy access to deck. We enjoyed our stay!"

"We enjoyed this cabin in spite of it’s fairly remote location. The deck, front porch, sunroom and fire pit gave it a homey and relaxing feel. The beds were very comfortable, and there were nicely renovated bathrooms. The property is a bird lovers’ paradise, with multiple feeders in the yard."

"This is our 3rd stay at Crowe's Cabin and we plan to be back many more times!! We enjoyed watching the eagles fly over the valley, and listening to the owls at night. While we drank our coffee on the patio one morning we had the privilege of watching and listening to the clip-clop of 50 or so Amish horse carriages on their way to a wedding. We can tell the owners' take great pride in their cabin, because it is immaculate and well cared for!"

"The owners were there by phone to direct me to a local mechanic when we had car trouble. Really nice people. Cabin was excellent for the weekend. Could use a bit bigger hot water heater tho. lol "

"It was a little hard to find. Just because we were arent front the area so the directions from the host helped immensely. The inside was extremely clean and cozy. The bed and couch were very comfortable and not stiff. Highly recommended, it definitely beats staying in the hotel."

"We spent one night at the cabin. It was small, but was cozy and well equipped. The loft bed was accessed by a wood ladder. This was fine, but made night time trips to the bathroom more of a challenge for us. The area is beautiful with the Kickapoo River nearby. My wife left her shawl behind so I contacted LeAnne and she kindly mailed it back to us."
