A gem!

Burrowdale is a gem -- a collection of stunning hobbit homes that are high end, plush, and thoughtfully detailed -- all nestled into a gorgeous countryside. We delighted in the sound of crickets, the smell of sweet grasses, the Milky Way overhead, and the generous breakfast. My tall husband was delighted by the large shower which was helpfully elf-lord sized. We have raved about this stay to everyone and only regret we didn't have more time to sink into the experience. Don't hesitate to book, this is a treat.

Pure Magic

From the moment you pull up to the Hobbit Hole you begin to notice all of the care and detail that make this space so magical. The hosts are on the premise and are so kind and make you feel so welcome, so at home. Opening the door to your room is like opening the door to a new world. You genuinely feel like you have stepped foot into a Tolkien novel. The space was so warm and cozy. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and delicious coffee! Second breakfast was better than any restaurant breakfast we've ever had- beautiful and delicious. If you have an opportunity to stay here you will be SO glad you did! It's an experience we'll never forget and we would definitely love to come back any stay in all the different rooms!

There's so much good to say about our stay. The accommodations were gorgeous, and so much thought was put into every detail of the room, it was just gorgeous. The property itself was beautiful, and a nice place to hike. Lastly, the breakfast was perfect. They served rustic sheet pancakes which were fluffy and delicious with fruit baked into them. On the side was some honeydew melon and a scramble of polish sausage, onion and apple. Absolutely delicious.
