Canyon retreat

A wonderfully classic stay at Eagle Crest! We so enjoyed the location of this unit - set on the canyon side. Hot tub was a hit for stargazing. A short jaunt down to the pool and steep 2 min hike/walk down to the river. The kitchen was well stocked. The decor, while a bit dated, was homey and welcoming. We’d love to stay again!

Comfortable furniture, there are a few stairs leading to the entrance. Nice hot tub! Upstairs bedroom gets a little warms during the day, but cools off in the evening thanks to screened door and fan.

Nice place to stay

My family and I were in town for a wedding and stayed at this place. It is in a nice resort community that had fun recreational things to do. Check in/check out was easy. Hot tub was nice. Would stay here again but would recommend owner purchase new bedding. Fitted sheets did not stay on the bed and there weren’t sheets for the pull out sofa in the living room. Small detail but certainly caught my attention.

We had a great stay. My only complaints are the that upstairs bedroom gets pretty warm and we encountered spiders in the house every day.

Need to be cleaned

House was very dusty, mold on the shower curtains, BBQ grill filthy and dead bugs on the floor in the bathroom. Balcony and terrace dirty and house smells musty. Will not stay there again.

Stunning river gorge view

Wonderful place to stay and relax with lots of recreational amenities at the resort. This unit has a killer view of the river in the canyon below. Spent a week playing golf on the reports 3 courses. Not to be missed.

Wedding venue

The condo was pretty hot when we walked in. Thermostat only went down to 70deg. Sure would be nice to get it cooler. Found the fans and had them running constantly. Called vacasa and they sent a guy out. He found one vent in living room completely disconnected putting all the a/c air into the crawl space. He put it back together. Condo was still pretty hot but we managed. Some light bulbs weren’t working but wasn’t that bad. Over all, it was a great place to stay. It would only be the heat issue.

Property suited our needs but…

We enjoy the area and the property suited our needs. It has nice views of the Deschutes river basin and is very peaceful and relaxing. We had no problems with the property. We have used VRBO for numerous rentals over many years, but, the insertion of VACASA as a manager is horrible for a user. Silly me asking questions like I was communicating with a real person, like VRBO USED TO BE! Instead I received AI generated responses which of course did NOT answer my question. One property issue is the front door lock. It’s “janky”. Doesn’t always work. I called VACASA and the person that answered I did not understand. I stated, “I do not understand you. Can you please repeat?” The male who sounded like he was in a tin can somewhere in India hung up on me. That’s not the kind of service I would expect if I own the property, and I’ve owned rental property before. Maybe VACASA is worth it to you the owner. But as a user, it’s as bad as it gets. Look up complaints against the company and you’ll hear the same thing. Pages and pages of horrible reviews.
