"Absolutely lovely space, we stayed here in Feb 2024 and can't wait to return! The room was spacious with a king size bed and had a large bathroom with twin sinks, soaker tub and a gorgeous tiled shower. Swimming is close by maybe 200m, in a sheltered bay. It's a public beach, but quiet. There is no lifeguard. Restaurants are close by, within 800m so an easy walk, but our host Jiscily makes such a wonderful breakfast that we gladly paid the extra. "This was my second time staying at this casa particulares. Ownership or management has changed and Edith is outstanding. She is on Whatsap so response is very prompt. I am a trekker so my goal is to stay in basic and affordable accommodations but more important in proximity to the main plaza as well as places I am visiting. "The hotel had no fault. The room and facilities were very nice, clean, comfortable, staff was friendly. Delicious breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant. "Cleanest place I have stayed in in Cuba. Good staff with very limited English and me with no Spanish. I arrived in terrific rain storm and the staff let me have my room early at no extra charge. Two cute, well behaved, friendly quiet house dogs. When I was waiting for a taxi the next morning, the landlady brought me coffee. Much appreciated. Nice clean place smelling slightly of new paint, always a good sign. "

"Terrible experience. I have booked via Expedia. I was flying from Canada where there was a terrible weather the flight got cancelled initially then got rebooked. I finally got to Varadero around 11:30 p m ok 30 dec. I found a taxi driver which called the hostel 3 to 4 times to ask the address. The lady from hostel replied that no reservation has been made on my name and her hostel is booked. The taxi driver was very kind and finally helped us to find an accommodation in the middle of the Night....
