Great apartment in a great area! Very well appointed furniture wise, but the actual building could us a bit of TLC. Everything was clean and the kitchen was well stocked.

Very nice, cozy and located apartment

Very well located apartment, there's a paid park surface very near that has charging points for electrical vehicles. The apartment itself was nicely renewed, clean and very practical. Included many conveniences! Totally recommended!!

The Ava apartments are ideally located for walking exploration around Reykjavik. We had a short challenge getting the access code to work and arrived before the cleaner was finished but it wasn’t a long wait. The street noise can be heard but just being in Reykjavik was such a treat.

Brilliant

Perfect location , last house on the end of rainbow road. Lovely spacious apartment with all things you’d need for a comfortable stay. Only issue was we had the penthouse which had amazing views of both the mountains and up rainbow road to the church but that did include a few flights of spiral stairs which was more an issue on the first and last day with a big suitcase. Felt safe & wasn’t too loud with the road noise.

The hotel look great in pictures, however, some of the review by other travelers complaining or mentioning about nose issues are very accurate. The hotel looks great in pictures & it actually is with good amenities, ambient lighting, and very convenient location. However, it does have a noise problem. In addition, whenever someone uses the bathroom to take a shower in the next room or rooms, most likely you will hear a loud noise from the water running in the pipes. In fact, it is so loud it might exceed the safe human hearing range. The noise created by the water running exceeds the 150-200 decibel hearing limit & is probably hazardous to human ear & hearing. While, some people might laugh at this, I’m confident that if an auditor did a sound test in the rooms while water in the next rooms is running, it would fail the legal requirement for a hotel/motel establishment & would be considered illegal.
