Fun Cabin Weekend

Super cute property with gorgeous river views. I rented the place for a birthday weekend with friends and we had a great time. The location is fantastic and even though the place is close to the road, it doesn’t feel that way with the river so close. A few pieces of feedback: a real sponge would’ve been nice to do dishes (we were left with only a magic eraser), and the two top bunks need new slats which would make the beds much more comfortable. Also, make sure you check the hot tub right when you arrive, if it can take a while to heat if it needs to be restarted.

Quiet and serene, it was wonderful. You'd go outside relax, close your eyes and it would sound like you were by the ocean. Loved it!!

Great mountain home!

This house is tucked in near the main highway, but far enough away to hear no highway noise. It also has a 100 foot walk down to the river with a private sitting area right next to it with a hammock! Beautiful and relaxing!!

Beautiful River View

Our summer stay was great! We spent most of our time outside on the deck, in the hot tub, or exploring the river. The sound of the river was incredibly relaxing. Other reviews have mentioned the hot water having a smell & the house not being super clean but we had a great time anyway. We would love to come back & stay again!

Cabin paradise

If you want the coziest cabin this place is amazing. Partner and I stayed here for 2 nights and loved going from the hot tub to the water for cold plunges and then back to the hot tub! Get yourself some firewood and plan to get snuggly in mt cabin vibes!!

Forest oasis

A quaint, clean, quiet, well appropriated cabin in the woods. The kitchen had everything you’d need and the smart TV and WiFi was surprisingly fast. We really enjoyed morning coffee on the deck and afternoons sitting down by the river. Our dogs had a blast. You can’t see or hear the neighbors making you feel like you’re alone in the woods. We’ve already booked our next visit.

Cozy and rustic cabin

This was a cozy and rustic cabin surrounded by beautiful scenery. It was a bit difficult to find at first but once we found it we ended up enjoyed our stay. We loved the short walk down to the river and how peaceful it was. One member of our party uses a walker and was able to move around the home easily however the bathroom with the walk-in shower is quite small, just a heads up for anyone that might need to use the walk in shower due to physical disabilities.

Perfect getaway cabin

The cabin was clean, esthetically pleasing, I could see and hear the river from the back deck. I didn't see or hear my neighbors. There are shops and restaurants close by. Timberline is just a 30 minute drive. This was a perfect getaway. Will definitely come back soon.

A tradition unlike any other

We've been coming to this cabin for almost a decade. It's our fall getaway location of choice. The cabin has neighbors, but it feels very private and secluded thanks to the trees and geography. We've tried other properties in the area, but nothing compares to this one for us. We love the river access and back deck. There is an amazing dining table in its own section of the main room and a small breakfast nook. This place has all the amenities we need, and it really feels comfortable in all parts of the cabin. The hot tub and back deck area feel private and spacious. Over the years we've seen nice improvements, including updated kitchen appliances and a dishwasher. We're very excited to see the fireplace get fixed. We look forward to this trip every year, and a big part of that is how great this cabin fits our needs.

Girls weekend

The setting outside was beautiful, but the inside was not very clean, dark and felt different than the photos represented. Lighting in the kitchen is really bad, floors were dirty, leaves and bugs on counters and beds.

Amazing location under the trees

This is a great rustic cabin on the river. The location is amazing and perfect for the 4 of us. The cabin is definitely older. The weather was warm so it was great to have the doors open and hear the river. People complained about the smell of the water but I think that’s just the way it smells there on the river. We brought bottled water and water jugs. There were a couple bags of ice in the freezer for us which was nice. If you love being outdoors and hiking, this is the place for you!

Great spot (even during a flood)

Great little cabin right on the river. Everything you need. Nonstop rain the 2 days we stayed. Roof needs some work around the skylights as water drips into the house. Good thing there were extra waste baskets around to catch the water. Water pools up around front door during heavy rain as well, but drained once rain slowed. Other than that, good place to hunker down during a power outage. Hot tub works great and location is excellent.

Hunter's Haven

The location is lovely, a beautiful view of the river. The living room furniture was comfortable. There is a bad smell when you take a shower. I had to call Vacasa because the hot tub wasn't heating up. I was told to turn it off and wait 5 minutes and then turn it back on. This worked. I had to do this 3 different times because each time I wanted to use the hot tub it would not heat up without turning it off first. Other than that I enjoyed my stay.

Very disappointed

Dark and rundown cabin, with little charm to offset rustic ambience. Kitchen awkward,claustrophobic bedrooms with limited storage, very dated bathrooms. Heat worked well, nice hot tub. Overall compares poorly to other places we have rented in the area at similar price points.

Loved the place

Beautiful location, very rustic charm. The hammock by the river sooo relaxing, along with the firepit. Back deck was comfortable, sitting in the hot tub in the evening was nice, though I had to use some tricks as a hot tub owner to keep it running. The house has everything you need except a working can opener. Using a hammer and screw driver is not safe. The dishwasher needs to be replaced, it is barely functional. And the lights in the kitchen need to be replaced, hard to cook when it is so dark. And a warning about the bears would be good. Glad I didn't surprise the one that ate the garbage cans

Beware of Bears

Got home today from a 5-day stay. The fireplace is not in working condition. Fills the place with smoke. Lack of extra blankets. You have to stand in a certain place to use the remote for the TV. Very. small kitchen and when running hot water in the sink smells like sewer. We also had to clean up garbage every day because a black bear came to the cabin and tore up the cans. The garbage wasn't ours. Left by previous visitors. Made the best out of it and did have a good time but disappointed.
