Winter stay at Trem Y Don

Wonderful place to stay, everything you need for a winter or summer break. Great location only a 2 minute stroll to Rhosneigr beach. Would definitely book again.

Family celebrations

We stayed here for the weekend to celebrate our daughter’s 40th Birthday, the accommodation and location to the beach was excellent, very comfortable beds. large open plan kitchen was great for entertaining all the family, very spacious accommodation, driveway is large enough for 2 cars, our grandchildren loved the selection of games and the bar football. Great walks nearby and would definitely recommend dinner at the Oyster Catcher within walking distance of the property. We would stay here again.

We had a fantastic family weekend away in your beautiful property in Rhosneigr. The house had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. Family weekend

A beautiful home furnished to a high quality. Open plan kitchen/living area was ideal for a family get together. Beds were comfortable and rooms pleasant. Location ideal for walks in the beach. Home was clean and well maintained. Appreciate homes have to be cleaned, but 5pm access is a but limiting if going for a weekend.

Winter break

Our long weekend with our family coincided with storm Isha. However we’re so pleased we chose this house as it was so warm and spacious and beautifully designed with lots of little extras such as board games for all ages and a great kitchen! Very handy for the beach and village amenities.

Fabulous extended family getaway

We had a lovely weekend at Trem Y Don, the house was perfectly situated for the beach and the village. The house had plenty of space for our party of 6 adults and the 3 children and the dog. It took quite a while to work out how to use the hob which added a bit of stress when. Prepping the first meal on arrival. We would certainly book again when visiting Rhosneigr with the family

A lovely location

The property was in an ideal location, our grandkids loved the beach, the room within the property was very spacious so enough room for everyone. It was nice to be close to small independent shops and was within easy reach of other attractions. The only thing that was a little tricky to start with was the hob, trying to get it going but when the child lock came on it wasn’t easy to turn off even though we followed the instructions in the book. Eventually we got it off then everything was ok for the rest of the holiday.

Fabulous property in excellent location

A beautiful property in a perfect location. A few steps from the beach, local.shops, bars and places to eat. We found it in a very clean condition. Great layout with large kitchen equipped with pretty much everything we needed. A few things could make it a 10/10.property thoguh. Be ause of a leak to one of the shower trays one of the unsuited showers was out of action. Other bathroom toilet on main corridor didn't flush well. Only one wardrobe for 5 bedrooms was an issue. 2 other double rooms had some hanging storage but no drawers which meant we had to live out of suitcases. The 2 bunkbed rooms had no storage at all. The garden needed weeding. One hairdryer in property was dangerously faulty. Didn't have the keys to the boat shed as promised so had to leave our paddle boards and kayak out in garden. Fix these few things and we will come back. Rhosneigre is one of our favourite holiday locations as the village has everything we need. As usual with Anglesey Holiday Lettings if we had to contact them (locked ourselves out) they provide a prompt service.

Fab weekend stay

Lovely house rental for my birthday weekend. Fantastic position in the heart of Rhos neigr. Would love to go back.

Great house, excellent location

This the 3rd time we have stayed here but it is starting to show a few niggles and wear and tear. The grouting and sealing around most of the showers and tiling is starting to look discoloured and grubby. The silvering in the mirror in one en-suite is noticeably pealing off the back of the glass. There is an outside light on the garage that is constantly flashing on and off 24 hrs a day and can be an annoyance at night in bed. The house name plaque is lying on the floor by the front door and creates the impression no one loves there place any more. The porch area, front door and surrounding glass work didn’t look as if they have been cleaned in a long while. I appreciate that the recent weather will have made things more difficult to keep clean but again this gave a poor welcome to such a great house. The TV in the games room didn’t work, it turned on but the controller did not function. We tried the controller from the kitchen as they are both the same but that didn’t work with the tv either implying it is a tv fault. The wall lights in the main living space did not work. There were areas around window reveals where the emulsion paint was flaking off. The sliding larder door in the kitchen is still not working properly. This review is not meant to be negative, we love the place, it has brilliant social spaces, comfortable bedrooms, well appointed kitchen, Sonos sound system and lots of toys for children etc and we will go back in a heart beat.
