“I rated this a 3 star because out of 4 days, 2 days we were disturbed by loud construction work taking place on the villa beside mine. It was from morning until evening with hammering, sawing, drilling and talking by the workers. Also, we lost all our privacy as we could not draw our room curtains, and since our washroom was outdoors with no door, we had to be extremely careful. We were not forewarned about this disturbance and I was extremely annoyed. We paid good money for our over the water……

“The property was excellent but a long way from town. Nothing within walking distance and cars were expensive despite short journey. You can rent scooters/motorcycles from the hotel for less than a car trip to town. We found that useful. The restaurant was delicious, particularly the pizza and Indonesian food. Breakfast wasn’t included but we just cooked in the apartment which we expected and was fine. The supermarkets in town are well stocked. The staff were amazing, super helpful and friendly.……

“In fairness before I booked i knew it was 23 miles away from the center but didnt think it was that far...because of the winding roads ir takes about 30 to 35 mins each way to the center of town and the hotel doesnt have a shuttle service. Taxi driver from the airport became my driver the entire time there so it worked out! Staff was super friendly and the restaurant ( Bajo Banana) had some amazing sunsets and good food. Ask for room cleanings from the owners to ensure it gets done. Other than……

“For a very reasonable price the room was clean, odor free with good air con and hot water. A great deal and a very comfortable place to stay. This was probably the best budget hotel I’ve ever stayed at.”

“We only stayed one night and it was the perfect place! Right off the Main Street with a roof top patio and amazing staff. They were so friendly and helpful, I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay at a reasonable price.”
