"Property neat and clean with exception of grout and caulking in bathroom. Person who greeted me upon arrival was not pleasant. Seemed annoyed. Told me that my room didn't come with breakfast and " you can have it but will cost you 16.95". I didn't request breakfast when I reserved room because I didn't need it. Very unusal for this hotel. Not what was said it was how it was said "

"It was really cool staying in an authentic colonial house while visiting Colonial Williamsburg. It was a short block away from the main Williamsburg Inn. You get all of the amenities of the Williamsburg Inn with the colonial houses. Our house was across the street from the back of the King's Arm Tavern so we could walk right into the colonial town right from our front door. We will definitely go back."

"Friendly and helpful from start to finish. I would have given all 5 stars throughout if my room had been tidied up each day with new towels every day and beds made. I’ve never ever stayed at a motel before where used towels and cloths are left and new clean ones were not delivered each day. Everything was kept clean, and not making beds would have been acceptable, but not delivering clean towels/cloths each day and not emptying garbage cans is unacceptable. I had to ask for new towels every time...

"We had a very pleasant stay. Our room was quiet and very comfortable. It was so nice having the "living room". Where we could sit and relax after a day of seeing the sites. The staff were thoroughly helpful. And the lady that was incharge of the breakfast was so nice. She greeted everyone as they entered and asked how everything was as they left. She was the smile at the start of the day for us."
