Top River Run Golf Course Hotel Reviews
Stoney Creek Hotel La Crosse - Onalaska
8/10 Good
"Easy and quick check in and friendly front desk staff. Bed was comfortable and it was quite with how many people were there. Nice to have a bar onsite to have a cocktail before turning in. The bar staff needs to addressed! Would definitely stay here again!"
Cranberry Country Lodge
8/10 Good
"We stayed 2 nights. Monday morning's breakfast was better than Sunday's because it was much less crowded. The eggs, sausage and potatoes were very good. Our room was clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay again."
Sparta Inn
8/10 Good
"Nice owner and nice job maintaining this old motel. They were doing the roof when we stayed. The first night, it was not over our rooms, but they stopped working at 8 PM anyway. The second night, they were working over our rooms, so woke us up at 7 AM. This is all understandable; it's maintaining the property during the off-season; has to be done SOMETIME, right? My one real complaint is that they seem to use some kind of Indian fragrance in the rooms. I woke up in the middle of the night and couldn't get back to sleep. The fragrance was on the pillows and bed cover. I had to put them both aside and then it was fine. I admit I'm sensitive to it, but the owner should realize that it will not be to everyone's liking and should consider withholding it, unless the guests are Indian. ;-) We will visit this motel again next year."

"Great place to stay with friendly staff!"
Super 8 by Wyndham Sparta
8/10 Good
"Room was clean. Parking was easy. Odd way to cheek into the hotel. 3 hotel staff around the counter and a stand up machine with a staff on the screen asking questions about my stay. It must have been something that would let them work remotely? Staff were friendly."
