“This hotel was given a "good rating" on Expedia - I'm not sure why. Our room was at the back of the building. Curtains were torn and did not completely cover the window, furniture was missing parts of it, door did not open all the way, paint was chipping/peeling, A/C was loud when it went off (all through the night), Lighting was out so area was dark (and not safe) and people were outside smoking and the smell was coming right in our room. It was also incredibly noisy. The hotel has……

“The front to check is a smelly small little phone booth big enough for only 1 person. I was immediately greeted by a rude lady yelling at me over a full blast ring camera and a guy behind plexiglass that didn't speak English. I was told I couldn't pay for my room at this location and had to drive across town to the days in and that they were having water issues here. I told them I didn't have any business with days in and my room was with them. I again was told I had to go to the other location……

“This property is old run down and dirty. From the broken entryway to the grimy room ,old bathroom fixtures and lack of hot water it was disgusting. The bed was lumpy and the towels harsh and rough. There were no amenities it wss nothing like was presented in the website!’”

“The internet does not work. There were a couple of unsecured internet connections but could not access them. I use internet for work and I work daily so this was a disappointment that I could not work. Office staff was friendly and accommodating with coffee and places to eat close by.”

“There was NO staff. Had an issue with the electronic lock to my room. Called a number and got instant solution. That's why I rated the staff excellent. Spectacular room and amenities. 8 miles from the southern end of Skyline Drive in Shenandoah. Very convenient.”

“Room was clean other than several of granddaddy long legs just hanging around the place, especially the bathroom. I could not get the access code for the hotel shop to work, and I tried multiple times with the instructions given. Not a huge deal, but a little inconvenient. I don’t think I was alone in that struggle because I didn’t see anyone go in there during my stay. Price was kind steep for what you get, but accommodations in the area are limited so supply and demand I guess. I would stay……
