"We have traveled many a places and this was an exceptional experience on many counts - the views, hospitality, friendly staff, almost felt like a family stay for a week. While El Peñol rock has many views the one from hotel is incredible. If you are visiting Guatape this would be top lister away from crowds and just close enough to the rock. "Beautiful place, it has two pools and one of it has an amazing view of La piedra del Peñol and the reservoir. The staff was so kind. Breakfast is buffet and food was delicious. The hotel is close to the town and piedra del Peñol. Recomendado 100%"

"Absolutely hands down the most unique and luxurious place we have ever stayed. We had zero complaints. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. It was very easy to get to places around the area including to Guatape. The mushrooms were spacious and especially enjoyable to stay in during night time thunderstorms. "

"Hotel Chromatic is a colorful, clean hotel. Located in the heart of Guatape, the hotel provided us good breakfast each morning, a nice hot shower, and friendly staff. Though the room didn't have a coffee pot or refrigerator, the coffee bar downstairs made good coffee and lattes, and my wife loved the hour massage on site--a paid option from their spa."
