Large grassed yard with fire pit for roasting marshmallows, 2 private decks with table & chairs, BBQ Grill and additional seating. Enjoy a glass of wine watching the sunset or have your morning coffee on the deck in the sunshine! This cottage has the feel of a cozy beach house with just enough updates and amenities to make you feel right at home! This single-level Cottage features fresh paint and updated linens and furnishings throughout! Living area has large comfortable sectional with plenty of seating. Flat screen Smart TV set up for Roku streaming with WIFI. Relax and enjoy an evening catching up on your favorite episode or reading a book while warming up with the cozy wood burning fireplace. (Be sure to bring plenty of wood!) Eating in is simple with the fully stocked kitchen, complete with utensils, cookware, and dishes. Enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner seated at the indoor dining table that can be pulled out with seating for 8. Perfect for a game night at the beach! The main bath features updated fixtures, with tile and a deep soaking tub and shower combo. It is located close to all of the bedrooms. The 2nd bathroom is great for accommodating a full house and is located off the kitchen. This 3/4 bath features a shower. Both bathrooms are stocked with quality linens. Shampoo, Conditioner, and hairdryer are provided for your convenience. Bedroom 1- features a Comfortable King bed with high quality linens and pillows. Large windows bring in sunshine and blinds can be drawn for privacy. There is closet space, as well as a dresser for guests personal items. Bedroom 2- features a Comfortable King bed with high quality linens and pillows. Large windows bring in sunshine and blinds can be drawn for privacy. There is closet space, as well as a dresser for guests personal items. This bedroom also has a ROKU TV for guests enjoyment. Bedroom 3- features a comfortable Queen bed and Twin Bunkbeds. Comfortable linens, and plenty of closet space for guests personal items. Large window with plenty of light and shades for privacy. Washer & dryer in home for guest use. FREE parking in private driveway for up to 3 vehicles. The large private yard is surrounded by trees with soft grass for playing outdoor games and a fire pit for a fun evening around the fire. Large back deck with outdoor table and chairs with seating for 4. There is also a great front patio/deck with BBQ grill and 2 chairs for lounging. If you are bringing a large group we suggest grabbing some additional folding chairs so you can enjoy the decks and the yard! We do not provide wood but there are plenty of places close by to pick up a bundle. We do allow up to (2) pre-approved dogs with an additional pet fee of $150 per pet. Unfortunately, we do NOT accept Cats due to allergies. Be sure to let us know that you plan on bringing a pet and to read and understand our Pet Policy before booking with a pet. Pack and Play is available onsite. Please let us know if you would like us to set up the Pack and Play for you. This property is available for rentals for 31 nights or longer and requires a separate rental agreement and an application that must be signed once the property is booked. This is to stay in compliance with Oregon Tenant Law. The property manager is a licensed Principal Broker in the state of Oregon. We also provide and require a mid-stay cleaning every month. Please provide a valid email address so we can send the rental agreement.
Guest Access: Guests have access to the entire home and the large private yard.
The Neighborhood: The Cottage is located in Nedonna Beach in Rockaway Beach, Oregon. The home is approx .5 blocks to Manhattan Beach State Park, 3 blocks to the beach and 2 blocks to a kid friendly lake with life-vests. Less than 1 mile from Rockaway Beach town center. Just 20 minutes North of TIllamook, the house is close to hiking, fishing, clamming, crabbing and plenty of fun things to do within a few minutes of the house. Rockaway Beach is a great beach town to spend the day walking and visiting the delicious restaurants serving local ingredients, and eclectic shops full of unique treasures. Saltwater taffy is a favorite and can be found in many local boutiques. Rockaway is also home to the original Pronto Pup and they still serve their delicious corn dogs! Ride the TIllamook Scenic train which departs daily from Rockaway for relaxing train ride with gorgeous views. Dogs are even welcome aboard! At Rockaway, there are 7 miles of beach, wide open and ready to explore, with more than 31 public access points sprinkled throughout town. There are more than 20 different points from which you can access the broad sands of Rockaway Beach. Generally, these are at the west ends of east-west streets. Some access points are formally marked; some aren’t. Some have parking; some don’t. For the areas without parking, you may still be able to find a spot on the street, but be careful not to block roads or driveways. Bring the kids, bring the dogs. You can fly a kite, go beach combing, watch for whales, take a walk or just relax — the perfect getaway on the coast!
Getting Around: A Car is necessary. Everything is convenient to the home including grocery stores and restaurants. If you are from out of state, we suggest flying into PDX and renting a car to make the approx. 2 hour drive to the Oregon Coast.
Other Things to Note: We are happy to share our vacation home with others and hope that you will enjoy it as much as we do! We also appreciate when guests treat it like they would their own! There is a complete list of instructions at the home including WI-Fi passwords and check out details. ~ we ask that you don’t cook crab in the home but there is a bbq to cook outside. ~You may be required to provide a photo of your Drivers License or Government ID directly to the host. This is for the safety and security of both guests & property Owners, and will be requested . ~ Smoking anywhere on the property will result in forfeiture of your entire deposit plus can result in additional fees up to $500 for smoke removal. ~There is a Ring Security Camera in the front of the home for the safety of our guests and owner. There are no additional cameras at the property. ~Pack and Play may be requested ahead of time but it is not kept on site so please be sure to let us know in advance We are happy to welcome your well behaved, and house trained dog into our home! -We do NOT accept Cats due to allergies. -There is an additional pet fee of $150 per pet, which we will request the additional pet fee via an alteration request after the booking is confirmed. Please also be aware of our pet policy: -Pets should not be left unattended at the property inside or outdoors. We do have kennels available on request for an additional fee. -Please pick up after your pets in outdoor areas immediately. -Pets are NOT allowed on furnishings or linens. Evidence of pets on furnishings or linens will result in additional cleaning fees to guest. -Pet fee accounts for additional cleaning and normal wear & tear due to hosting pets. Pet fee does NOT cover damage or additional cleaning above and beyond reasonable wear & tear.
