“Wall is thin and the room is cold in the evening. ”

“Clean room and comfortable bed. We didn’t use any of the other amenities so can’t speak to the condition of the pool etc. Location was nice and grounds were beautiful. View of the ocean was nice. Only negative was the smoky smell upon entering the room but once inside it wasn’t noticeable. Nice trail to Devil’s Punchbowl and beach. Overall, a very nice stay.”

“It was ok for a 1 night stay. Checked in by 4pm checked out by 530am. Don't plan on a clean room but the bed is clean i checked. They could use more pillows the ones they had are very soft so no real head support.”

“So peaceful! Loved my own private balcony for reading and watching the waves. Peggy the manager was very kind and helpful. Room was spotless. The beach wasn't crowded at all! So close to Newport for anything I needed. This was my second stay and I will keep returning!!! Thank you!”

“Property is right on the Coast highway. A very old property. It is managed by a WONDERFUL woman. It's a slightly odd, multi-use property, that had been renovated at one time. Our second floor room was huge, contained 2 glorious double beds, t.v., microwave, mini fridge. One overhead light with a fan and a window with no screen. Two working plugs, too! But it was absolutely spotless. The bathroom was soooo clean, plenty of towels and the accouterments- shampoo, conditioner, soape, etc. All……

“Brandy at the front desk was very helpful throughout the whole reservation and check-in process. The check-in date on my non-refundable booking with Expedia was incorrect but I didn't know until after I reserved. Brandy and Expedia worked together to adjust the date at no extra charge to me. As for the property, it is under new management so there is remodeling going on. It did not affect my stay but I noted that the lobby was bright and updated with a beautiful panoramic view of the ocean. My……

“Everything about this place was perfect (aside from the slow toilet). Property was recently renovated and everything was clean. Beds were comfy, staff was super friendly and helpful, and the location is perfect.”

“It was literary themed with an interesting library upstairs. Free espresso and a nice fire on back porch. Right on the water with beautiful views. Make sure to go to the historic bayfront and check out the sea lions”
