「I was disappointed with this stay. For the amount of money it cost, the caravan was not clean, was overcrowded and needs a lot of smarting up. You had to pay extra to have bedding which I think is unreasonable, particularly how much it cost per night anyway. Communication with the host was fine but not great. Unfortunately I won’t be recommending or returning to this property. 」

「Excellent all round love the champagne bar there was a live singer in the downstairs bar what was a nice touch and she was really good nice big room nothing to come about 」

「The room was spacious and very clean. Very nice touch with a bottle of sparkling and still water each side of the bed. Breakfast was substantial. Getting to the rooms with a very tight turn at the top was challenging but the staff offered help both with the luggage when we arrived and when we left. Staff were brilliant Would definitely stay again as it was such good value for money」

「We’ve just had a fantastic stay at The George. The interiors and finishes are beautiful, and the room was incredibly spacious, especially the bathroom, which featured a stunning freestanding copper bath. The customer service from Maddison and the rest of the team was excellent; everyone was friendly, helpful, and attentive. We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend it. 」

「Perfect place to stop over prior to ferry or Chunnel crossing. Not too far to walk into town although it’s uphill all the way back. Friendly staff and very welcoming.」
