Coast Seattle Downtown Hotel by APA

10/10 Excellent

"Coast Seattle Downtown is an excellent hotel. The rooms are nice, the reception staff were great and I like that it's centrally located. There is construction going on right now that we didn't know about in advance, as they remodeling the reception area. We are disappointed that we will not be there to see the completion. We were able to walk to Pikes Market, the Needle, parks, there are several good restaurants, stores close by, and the fitness center has a good variety of equipment. I felt safe whenever I was in there by myself. I love that you get sturdy house slippers versus the terry cloth type (or nothing at all). The hotel never felt overly crowded.I would definitely stay here again."

"Good location BUT the room was far below expectations. We may have been unlucky with our room but the AC didn’t work it was stuffy and hot in there. The shower head was pathetic, no pressure and leaked water out the side of the shower creating water damage under the sink and there was definitely black mold building up around that area. The bed sheets had multiple little holes in it and little black stains. The bed was decently comfortable but did not feel very clean and quality controlled. Room was also very tiny. Thankfully we only stayed one night."

"Every time I travel to Seattle, I stay at this hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean, the staff are friendly, and it's very easy to get to Westlake Station. During my stay last week, I was impressed to see that the hotel had been renovated. The room I stayed in felt much bigger than last year! The only disappointing thing was that the in-room coffee machine, cups, and glasses had been removed. You now have to either get the complimentary coffee between 4:00 and 7:00 AM at the lobby or buy it elsewhere."

"The outside looked nice and up dated but the room was very outdated and smelled. The ladies who worked the front desk were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was from 6 to 9 which is about a hour shorter than other hotels. One thing I felt a little uncomfortable with was it seemed like the hotel lets home people stay there."
