"Seems like a nice hotel with good spa facilities. We had a non smoking room, but it stank of cigarettes and the bathroom smelt unclean. The hotel staff didn’t speak any English (I no we were in Germany but basic pleasantries would have been nice) so don’t expect any help. Didn’t complain about the smell in the room as unable to make ourselves understood."

"Big, clean, comfortable room, with double bed but two single duvets. Good sized wet room with non-slip showerfloor (but no plug of any sort for basin). No breakfast (or other meals) available but coffee machine at reasonable prices; also a well equipped kitchen and pleasant dining/sitting area. Small fridge in the bedroom. In a quiet area (very few people around in the evenings) 10 mins walkfrom the station, 15 from the historic centre. NB: Reception is on 2nd floor (my room was on the 3rd) and...

"We stayed here for one night on our way to Europa Park. Due to a flight change we were going to arrive late and I saw that check in was only open until 10:30. I sent the hotel a message and asked what we would need to do, after a few messages back and forth we were told if we arrived late there is a lock box near the door, and we were given the code and told our room keys would be in there, as it was we arrived with ten minutes to spare so didn't need to do this. The photos don't do the rooms...

"Lovely hotel- in a great spot. Excellent breakfast- lots of variety for all tastes. Only thing that let the room down was the creeky floor of the whole room that gave the impression to the occupants below and led to a complaint from reception that we were stomping about when in fact we had no shoes on at all! This then made us anxious when we moved around the room which was unfortunate and slightly soured our overall experience."
