“Staff were fantastic . Unfortunately plumbing went awry and our.room stunk of sewerage, getting so bad we had to ask the move rooms. Staff were happy to accommodate this but we had to ask as the cleaning staff just acted like the room was fine. No hot water on the last day. Quiet and out of the way but obviously has both some teething and ongoing maintenance issues. These things ruined our stay there.”

“Really disappointed given the reviews. Might be the nature of the property being primarily a retreat. So if your not up to vegetarian, limited amenities, steer clear. Staff were fantastic , even helped me with local shuttle, thanks, but had the feeling that if you weren't there on some healing, life altering mission, you didn't fit in. ** it was not listed in the listing that there are no tvs, or smoking. The rooms are basic, not 4 star. Saggy soft bed hurt the back. 30 nights in Bali, and……

“Wonderful experience! Love it!”

“The staff were exceptionally kind and attentive! The resort is in a fairly remote location however the resorts shuttle service will get you to some key places like Ubud and Sanur. The food was amazing. The pools were well maintained & you could order food and drink to the pool. The rooms were air conditioned, too.”

“The staffs are super friendly and helpful. The view from the room is fabulous, we’ve got a room with private pool facing the ocean. The whole villa locates in a rice field, it’s totally separated from the busy Bali, which is good, like a hidden paradise. 3 mins walk to the stunning beach. ”

“Loved my stay here. The people were so nice and friendly, going out of there way to make me feel welcomed.”

“Great place away from the hustle. Relaxing and very friendly.”

“Nice place, rooms a bit small but still good. Staff was very kind. Wish they had better plugs for charging devices, had to use our kids room next door as ours didn’t have a working one, not a big deal however.”

“Amazing stay at Maya with the butler service. All staffs are very welcoming, lovely stay❤️”
