"Perhaps there is a Dinosaur museum at the same county, decoration at the first floor full of color of dinosaurs, and a big in door playground, kids definitely love it. There are free rental badminton racket, tennis racket, and even bicycle for guest. Onsen are comfortable with total of 4 choices (for man). Overall family friendly stay over."

"Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was pretty big, clean, and had a nice view of the outside. The location was very convenient since it's a few minutes from Fukui station. I highly recommend if you plan to stay at Fukui!"

However we were surprised at the extra charges for two futons for our children at ¥3000 a piece as well as the ¥3000 late arrival fee, which made it much more expensive than we originally thought. "The facilty is old & the room smelled of cigarettes, but everything else was wonderful. If looking for authentic Japanese experience (for the working and middle class Japanese) this is a very good experience. Dinner and breakfast buffet was really good. However there's little to do around the lake, unlike Yamashiro ir Yamanaka onsen area. "
