“The breakfast was really YUMMY. I had the avocado toast ( amazing) and my husband had the English breakfast( he said it was the best!!). Staff really nice and helpful. 5/5 star Room was beautifully decorated and bathroom was huge and beautiful too. Perfect location to walk village and also hike!!”

“The 3 course meal was al a carte status, excellent made by chef/ owner. Lovely bedrooms and v clean and owners very welcoming. Lovely views and walks nearby. For children the wildlife park is worth a visit nearby. ”

“We stayed at Old Posting Inn for 2 nights as wanted to explore the lake District area. We wanted a quiet, quaint village as our base, and the Inn was perfect for our needs. The dinner was excellent and the hosts were lovely. The location itself is15 mins from Cockermouth town centre, 30-40 mins from Kewsick, and 45 mins from Buttermere. All in all, it was a perfect holiday for us, and we will come again!”

“Short walk from Town Centre, great breakfast. Room clean but miner niggle in that it should have been a single room rather than double as despite the warning the beams were impossible to miss sometimes!”

“Great location in town centre. Stay spoiled by sewer odour in bathroom that couldn’t be disguised by the scented bottle they put in there. Property also didn’t reply to an email I sent about an item I left behind in the room.”
