"This was a pleasant surprise! I wasn’t expecting much based upon the outside of the building. However, I had one of the best hotel experiences in my life. The pictures on the website are exactly what it looks like on the inside. I have stayed at luxury hotels all over the world and this hotel has to be one the cleanest I have ever stayed in! My room was spotless. No nasty dust in the bathroom exhaust fan, fluffy towels, spotless carpeting, even the lamp shades were clean. The staff is honestly amazing. Friendly and very helpful. The free breakfast was very nice and varied every day. It was nice to eat off of real plates with flatware and cups. I will defiantly be calling the Phoenix Inn “home” the next time I’m in Albany. "

"Pet friendly, near shopping and fuel. Theyre remodeling it seems. Room in good shape though bathroom flooring could use a revisit as can some of the electrical plugs. Enjoyed the stay and will return when in area."

"It was a good room/bed for the price. quiet except for I-5 noise. We appreciated the black out curtains. Normally we would have used the hot plate, and bring our own dishes, but it was just a one night stay."
