Great Villa in Samara

This was the second time we stayed here and we love this villa. We enjoyed the pool and the short walk to the beach and restaurants. Leonie was responsive and available if we need assistance. Highly recommended!

Great location and stay

First, to be clear. We didn’t actually stay at this property. We stayed at the one next door which appeared to be an upgrade so I’d highly recommend booking that property. The bedrooms were all nicely maintained and we found the kitchen pretty well equipped. We had a small plumbing issue that was corrected within just a few hours. The property manager was very responsive to all our requests and needs. There was someone to clean the pool every morning and the landscapers were quiet and respectful. We really liked the short walk into town but also having privacy. The houses are gated and there is a steeper walk up the driveway but you aren’t going to get that kind of privacy without a little uphill walk in samara. Irs worth it, trust me. We will define recommend the place to friends and hope to be back soon!

Belle maison moderne très bien équipée et confortable. Tout est facilement accessible à pied. Restaurants plage épicerie boutiques... super piscine mais pas vraiment de vue sur l’ocean par contre. PouJe recommande sans hésiter.

Not worth the money

This house had many problem. First of all there was mold on the outside of the house and the strong smell of mold on the inside. We had issues with the water being off for over 24 hours and the manager did not try and help us or bring us potable water which should be expected for a property of this price. The AC was broken for most of the time in one of the bedrooms. Was not fixed until the last day. The walk to town is down a steep hill which would not be a problem, except when it rains it is dangerously slippery. The view is nice and the pool in fine except for the resident bats the hover at night. Overall I would say that this property is not worth it. The owner did give us discount for the inconvenience of the water shut off which was appreciated.

Best of both worlds

This is one of 4 homes, all identical, built on a gated hilly property. It's modern & clean, has a master suite with two additional bedroom suites, plus a great central living area (living room, kitchen, outside and inside eating areas. The pool is the perfect size and temperature. From out back you can see the ocean (the southern end of Samara's beach), and more importantly hear the waves clearly. But you're up in the mountains and will see wildlife and hear howler monkeys. The walk to town is literally 5 minutes, you couldn't get any closer and also have the respite of privacy and wilderness. Checking in was easy, all remote via lockboxes and codes. We never saw another human. 10/10 would stay again.
