Peaceful home in centralized area.
Property manager was always quick to respond and was easy to communicate with. Location was awesome, and was close to every main tourist attraction. And grocery store was close by, too. Loved the private yard. It was so peaceful and we enjoyed the quiet mornings with the soft breeze and birds singing.

Quick Family Vacation

Short San Antonio Visit
The place was perfect for the 6 of us. Close enough to the downtown attractions to walk but far enough away that we could enjoy some quiet time as well. Place was very clean and just as described. Property managers were very helpful and responsive. Would stay here again.

Although the place was nice, had room for us all, and conviently located to the Riverwalk....the train! The train sounded like it was in the backyard and blew its horn ALL night looonnggg! It was also in the less desirable area.

Clean, well set up house
Great yard and outdoor area and super clean for our stay. Beds were very comfy and they had some nice coffee supplies provided and a lot of staples. Train noise didn’t bother us at all. Welcome information was great and steered us towards a few nearby restaurants. Great communication and convenient to a lot of San Antonio atttactions.

Great Location
Four family members traveled to meet in San Antonio for visiting and fun. This property was in a great location. We had one person with a mobility issue so did not walk anywhere but could see it would be easy to the Alamodome. A HEB was very close but would encourage you to check what is already stocked in property prior to shopping. Great ice maker in freezer, clean, plenty of towels, cleaning products, soap, etc. We stayed during a big thunderstorm so appreciated being able to garage our car. Easy drive to Alamo, 4 Missions Tour, The Saga Light Show, Pearl, and airport. One person found the train noise in the middle of night disturbing on night one, but slept through on night two!

lovely home near downtown
This house was very nice for our recent stay. We enjoyed it very much and everything was clean and tidy. The check in process wa easy and would reccomend it to travlers. Only glitch was the heat distribution. It was cold downstairs and very hot upstairs so we had to play around with the temperature. The trains coming through at night woke us up the first night but then we adjusted. The beds were comfortable and the backyard was a plus.

Great Stay
We booked the house over Thanksgiving weekend so that we could enjoy the festivities around the riverwalk. The house was neat and clean and in a fantastic location if you have plans around the riverwalk or alamodome. Owners were very responseive.. Would definilty recommend.

Fun weekend stay
We had a wonderful time and were impressed with the house. The owners were responsive and kind. The only thing we found issue with is that none of us are particularly skinny people and every piece of furniture was made for skinny people. So plus size be warned it's a beautiful house but if you want to feel sturdy in the bed, or couch, or kitchen chairs you may look elsewhere.

Our stay was amazing, the house was great. Just as described, plenty of room to spread out. The owners were very timely in response to a few questions we had. The neighborhood was wonderful, the people friendly, and it was a short drive to everywhere we wanted to be in San Antonio. Great trip, would definitely stay again!

Alamodome Adjacent
9 minutes to walk to the Alamodome entrance, there is a park with an open gate you can use. House was well-appointed and furnished. Beds were comfortable. Could use new carpet on the stairs, but not a big deal. This house is on the sharp edge of gentrification as of November of 2022. The side of the street it is on is a row of carefully renovated and neatly kept homes and lawns. Going towards the Alamodome, it is more of the same. Across the street and beyond is still a pretty rough neighborhood. We had no issues on a Friday and Saturday night. It was quiet, (aside form the occasional train horn), no sirens, parties, people in the streets etc. We walked to and from the venue during the day but elected to drive at night. Host was top-notch in all aspects of communication etc.

This property was cute and clean. It was perfect for us because it was within walking distance if the Alamodome. Dakota ice house was right around the corner and had great food. I would definitely stay here again.

Worth The price
We stayed in this location due to an event at the Alamo Dome. The location was perfect as it was within walking distance and also a short drive to down town. The house met all our needs and then some. Would stay again

The home was very clean and the furnishings ie (beds, etc) were comfortable. There home was well stocked with enough supplies for our 5-day so you don't have to worry about running out of anything. We especially loved the backyard patio and privacy fence. The location is perfect as Uber was less than $7.00 to the Riverwalk where lots of restaurants located. Also, it was easy to communicate with the host company. Finally, my husband couldn't make it so it turned out to be just me and my granddaughters. We felt safe even though we thought we wouldn't at first due to their security system. We would stay here again.

Close to everything
Communication was great. House was perfect for our group. It was easy to get to all tourist attractions. I would rent again if returning to the area. Sadly the weather didn't cooperate,but we had a great time.

Great house and location!
We went down to San Antonio for the half marathon. The location was perfect! It was so close to everything we wanted to see. Jeff was a great host and provided us with a list of things that were going on in the area during our stay. I definately recommend this house and staying here!

Great place to stay.
We were 3 sisters on a "Sister's Therapy" trip to celebrate the oldest sister's 70th birthday. The property and house were very clean and centrally located near the downtown area. We were able to easily get around San Antonio from this location. The only thing to be aware of is that it is close to the Alamo Dome where the UTSA teams play. We had to be re-routed several times during our stay for sporting events. But we could also get to the Historical Missions National Park easily and could easily do all that we came to San Antonio to do from this VRBO. If you looking for a centrally located place in the San Antonio area as a tourist this would be a good bet.

Our location is fantastic for people attending events at the AlamoDome or convention center, but yes, sometimes our streets get the overflow from parking at those events. Nice place for a long weekend
Pros: The place was very clean, it had everything we really needed, while the neighborhood 2 or 3 streets over was a little concerning, we felt very safe in the house, nice little backyard and patio with a grill, a functional kitchen with the essentials, and it was only a little over a mile from an HEB grocery store. All-in-all it worked nicely for our group of 6 for a long weekend.+ Cons: The beds weren't the most comfortable (recommend the owners invest in a few memory foam bed toppers for those with less than young backs), there wasn't enough hot water for our group, and I would not have been comfortable walking around the neighborhood. As a note on location, I thought we might be close enough to walk to the river walk, but it would have been a pretty long walk through some areas that I would not want to walk through at night. No big deal, just a note.

Yes, as stated in our listing headline, we are 1 mile from the Riverwalk, so easy for some, but most of us prefer to drive, park, then save our legs for walking the Riverwalk itself. We're glad you enjoyed the house, and will make note of the mattresses. That's a tricky thing due to everyone having different comfort levels. Comfy and clean
We loved it! Not far from downtown. Beds were comfortable. House was so clean. Outside area in the back was great for all of us to hangout at night. We will be visiting again.

Thank you SO MUCH for choosing to stay with us! We try to tell guests in advance of their stay, but DO NOT stay in downtown San Antonio (or any city for that matter (ie Chicago, with trains on the other side of the hotel wall)) if city noise bothers you. There is a train station several blocks away (Sunset Station), so trains will come and go occasionally. Staying downtown provides the convenience of the Alamo, River Walk, and all that the city has to offer, but city noise will also be present. Thank you again for staying with us. San Antonio winter break
This house was a fantastic place to stay. This is in a very quiet neighborhood and close to downtown and the Riverwalk. You can see the Alamodome from the backyard, and it was a short drive to see a Spurs game. Clean and comfortable, I would highly recommend this home for a stay.
